What do you think the Blazers will do?

I really think the most likely thing we see is us trading the pick back for two picks (one of which we use in a package to land a vet forward and the other we use) or a vet forward and a pick we use.
I don't understand that either.Stars win. I don't understand why we would want worse picks.

I agree, but I don't think there is a very good chance of a 'star' at #7. Since the Blazers need talent at BOTH forward spots, do what you can to get multiple players to improve your roster. The likelihood of a rookie being a difference maker while Dame is here is very small.
And it's Dame's time that everyone is figuring is being taken into account here, right?
If we trade back I would assume the idea is that the multiple assets would fill multiple holes in a way that has more impact on winning than the single asset did that we could have drafted. That has to be the math on that decision.Since we don't have the assets to contend, it's preferable to turn our best chance at adding a star into multiple lesser pieces of mediocrity.
I voted for pick a player at #7 as thats what I hope for. I've no idea what they'll actually do.Stars win. I don't understand why we would want worse picks.
Andrew Wiggins (#1) James Wiseman (#2) Otto Porter (#3).I agree, but I don't think there is a very good chance of a 'star' at #7.
Can’t wait to see who they are playing forAndrew Wiggins (#1) James Wiseman (#2) Otto Porter (#3).
Those are the three Warriors taken above #7 & yet they're going to the finals for the 6th time in 8 years.
This is a solid draft and a great opportunity to add a major piece... I will be pretty shocked if 3 years from now there aren't several players taken 7 or below who've developed into at least border line All Stars.

Oh boy sugar!!! (5 minutes later) Why do I feel like crap?It appears the team is focusing on winning and continuing mediocrity. Not taking a chance at long term excellence and contending for a title. It's sad many fans have already bought into aiming for mediocrity as well.
