I'd kind of like to see him in a Blazer uni. Sure, he's an old fart, but I think he'd be a great (on-court) mentor for the likes of Bayless and/or Mills, while also being the type of distributor the team is looking for.

He's done it all...short of winning an NBA title (right?). I think he's got 'it'. The kind of 'it' that Bayless could really admire and grow under. He's also got one or two decent seasons of b-ball left in the tank. Perfect window for this team in my estimation.

My question, though, is...would he cost too much for KP's fiscal philosophy? As well, I couldn't see the Blazers paying more than $7mil or $8mil per (if that) for him. Is that realistic? Although, he might be able to garner more as a marquee-type player somewhere else, I suppose.

Thoughts?

Bucher mentioned that Dallas might offer him a one year, $15m contract.

Dang Dizzle.. that would keep him there for sure.

If, and only if, we were to use him to mentor our PG's, maybe two years at no more than $5 million per season. He has, literally, nothng left in the gas tank. I could drive by him and I'm 50.
