As long as he keeps commenting on my posts and trying to throw jabs I will dish it right back... and as a die hard Blazers fan I demand accountability for that epic failure... I’m not gonna let it get swept under the rug... I will keep repeating myself until someone is held accountable for not doing their job

So, you're actually delusional enough to think your repetitious rants in an online forum are going to change the future direction of this franchise? Really????

It's not WHAT you are posting, it's HOW. You post like a 11 year old. You claimed you are a grown man. I assume you have a job. Do you send every message out in this same manner in your day to day life? I have never made an excuse, let alone a "repetitive" one. So I have no clue what that means.
This forum is full of posters with childlike behavior... they bring me down to their level... you defend CupPisser when he is constantly name calling and acting childish... but you have a problem when I do it because you disagree with my message...

It is remarkable how similar this season was to last season. The only difference was last season we thought it was Nurk that turned the season around and we could tell ourselves that Nurk going down in the playoffs was what killed our chances.

It seems like certain coaches have their patterns. Like I said in some other thread: PJ Carlesimo had an eerily similar pattern to Stotts: start the season slow, but be REALLY COOKING (like 90% win rate in the last month) at the end of the season...then flop in the playoffs.
Contrast with Mike Dunleavy, who tended to have shitty second halfs of the season but then turn it around in the playoffs. Was that because his brand of call-every-play, exploit-every-mismatch coaching just worked better when things slow down in the playoffs?

I don't think Stotts is the problem, but sadly, given our cap situation and slew of bad contracts, and assuming Allen hasn't lost faith in Olshey and doesn't want to do a Hinkie, the only thing that would get me excited for next season would be a flashy coach hire like Jay Wright.

I not posting it directly to the organization... I just don’t want Neil Olshey’s spin to brainwash fans... I’m gonn keep the reality fresh in fan’s minds and keep reminding people of what Olshey is trying to sweep under the rug... eventually enough fans will see through his bullshit

The irony here is by trying to keep the reality fresh in fan’s minds, your message has gone stale in record time. If everyone puts you on ignore, or just skips over your posts, because we've heard it all before (and before, and before, and...), who exactly are you reminding.

The only thing I'm reminded of is you're a 1-trick gimmick poster that just posts the EXACT same rant over and over and over without adding anything new to the discussion.

I think fans read for forums, they take in information and form opinions, they debate friends, who debate other friends... all these people buy tickets... if they are unhappy with the product and stop going to games maybe change will happen... would rather try then let that condescending weasel Olshey try to sweep everything under the rug with no accountability

I think you constantly being on Neil’s jock strap is the one trick pony

Obviously no one is putting me on ignore because you keep responding to my posts

I'm pretty sure Paul Allen is the one who ultimately holds his GM accountable. He hasn't hesitated to fire GMs in the past if he wasn't satisfied with their performance. Pritchard was very popular with the fans right up until he was fired by Allen. He was considered a boy wonder and savior of the franchise after drafting Roy and Aldridge and rescuing us from the dark days of the PatterNash era. Cho wasn't even here a year. The fans barely knew what he looked like, let alone had any reason to run him out of town.

By repeating the EXACT same rant in every post in every thread, people are already tuning you out. Many will end up just putting you on ignore, because they already know what you're going to say before you say it. You're not accomplishing your lofty goal of changing the future of the franchise. All you're doing is annoying the fuck out of your fellow forum members. We get it, you don't like Neil Olshey. Just put it in your fucking sig and post something fresh and on topic once in a while.

@Gronk Brady I have banned you from this thread. You are free to post in the rest of the site but staff is continually having to delete and/or edit your personal insults of other members of the forum.

You have to stop with the personal insults or you will be removed from the site.

Thanks.

You're not swaying anyone here with your repetitive posts. They're really just annoying...

The players probably deserve a B+ (Damian is carrying a lot of their asses though), the coaches get a C+ for getting this mismatched crew to play hard enough to get into the playoffs, but get dinged for not having much of plan after the bullets started flying. Olshey gets a D- for saddling this team with its terrible contracts and putting it in a position where there's not much else to do but start over, and he can't even do that because of the aforementioned contracts.
I say D+/C- (and voted D, just to be salty).

way ahead of you....problem solved..

I haven't had anyone on ignore in years (I think PapaG was the last), but it needed to be done. His posts weren't adding any value to the forum. Quite the opposite actually.

I thought I covered that in my thread asking all of you to stop with the personal insults.

I suppose that one is a judgement call. Was I attacking the post (don't matter), or the poster (delusional)? I can see that one going either way. I think we'll have to consult the replay official in Secaucus.

I defended who? I don’t defend anybody on here but myself. Send me the link to that please.

Dude, didn't you just defend Rebecca Harlow like yesterday?

Yeah, I know, she's not here to defend herself and you want to be her knight in shining armor, so it's not the same as defending another poster. I'm sure if I looked like her, you'd defend me, too.

I went with a C. It was an F at the All Star break, so they really got a lot accomplished to end the year with those all nighter study jams. The good: we found a semblance of team defense; found an efficient and set rotation; we saw some guys improve like Dame, Collins, Napier, Connington; maybe most importantly, the season sample hopefully proved to Olshey and Allen that we can't win big with the team as currently constructed. To counter all that good was the first half record and playoff effort. C seems about right.

At the all star break we were 6 games over .500 which put us in the playoffs at that stage. Not sure how you can figure that as an f. That gtradd would be for teams like Atlanta, Phoenix, Memphis etc.

I see it as like a D before February, then like a C or so at the all star break, then an A for the stretch to April. Then a D in the regular season of April, and an F for the playoffs. Overall still haven’t been convinced it’s not a C.
