I have a 2004 Mazda6. Its ok, just a regular car...got a good deal on it....pretty happy with it so far. don't love the car, but its been relatively problem free. Wish it had more low end torque though.

I have a 68 cutlass in the garage that needs me to spend some time with it (needs work) and I bought a junker 97 grand marquis for a dd last year. POS.

My girlfriend is getting a new Fusion very soon as her new company car to replace the Taurus we hated for the last 3 years.

There is a great off topic part of this site that needs more posters and they added an auto part but not too many people there yet. check it out

We have too many cars. We have a 2007 Volvo XC90 that I bought my wife as a wedding gift, but she thought it was too big, so we bought a 2008 BMW 328xi Sports Wagon. These days, I generally drive the XC90, but my car is really a 2006 Audi A6. Also, because we do a lot of stuff that requires hauling stuff around, we also own a 1997 Chevy SS (basically an S-10 with a V-6).

We spend half the year in Denver and half in Portland, so we try to keep two in each spot, but right now we have everything but the Audi in Denver.

I rock a 1999 Honda Odyssey. I call it "The Romulan Warbird," for it enshrouds the driver in a cloaking device, making it impossible for cops to notice. I have blatantly broken two driving laws in one day within 50 yards of police cars and not been hassled a bit.

I personalized my Idaho ("Famous Potatoes") license plate to say "RUBE." Very handy when I was in Portland recently. Do you know what a fratboy driving the new Mustang his daddy bought him looks like when my ugly gray lump cuts him off? The humiliation is devastating. Utterly.

Of course, you could argue that it's not exactly the pinnacle of masculinity to drive a soccer mom car. But I watched every game of our 21 win season. If my ego were tied up in these kind of things I would've sold my soul and become a Laker fan years ago.

Quickie TI.

LOL! When I saw you had responded, I thought to myself "if he says something like 'Everest & Jennings' I'm going to LMAO". Sure enough, you didn't disappoint. :)

given that i'm in grad school, don't qualify for more than the minimum amount of loans, and can only work 20 hours a week, i'm currently rocking my bike. However, in 2 weeks time I hope to be rollin' in a '96 Civic. Yeah. Represent.

99' Honda Accord.

Not my personal favorite at all, but reliable, paid for, and gets the job done for now.

I roll in one of these bad boys.

This is how I roll!

My 2006 Hyundai Elantra is the shit -- ok it just gets me where I want to go -- and I have had absolutely no problems with it *knock on wood*

2006 Prius, 1998 Jeep Grand Cheroke

Ahh, so you're a hippe and douche bag.

I need something to haul around my loot.

And when the world as we know it ends due to global warming, the SUV is going to be the only way to get around.

I thought of that, but after all the ice in the world melts, the dogs would drown in the 5 feet of water covering Las Vegas.

That's crazy. If you need to get rid of a car, I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands.

2008 Mazda 3..and I'm 17 years old. Next year, I get a 2008 Nissan 350Z with 20 inch rims...can you say balla?

The Mazda 3? About 110 or around there. All I know, is every month I have to give my dad 65 bucks and that's it. But, I have to pay for my own insurance and gas.

Nope, just nice chromed out rims.

EDIT: I'm a white boy, I'll look stupid with spinners.

Maybe I should get a job and lease myself a car. I'm confused about the process, though. Other than paying per month, are there any other fees?

Depends on the deal.

Some take a down payment or 'cap cost reduction'.
Some take a bank fee.
Some take a documentation fee (this is for the dealers' paperwork, saw it on my lease).
Initial registration.

I'm sure there are more, those that come to my mind outside of Insurance.

That's why I bridged the gap and got an 06 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Which is pretty nice. I haul around all kinds of stuff I can't fit in the other car, and I've generally been getting 30mpg.

Other car is an 02 Mazda Millenia, which is the only car I've ever had that's made the wife-requested CarMax Extended Warranty a worthwhile purchase.

I have a 2004 Chevy suburban when I can afford the gas j/k.

cars are a hassle. if you can, buy a 3-4 year old used japanese car with low miles for cash.
