OT What's Better....Hulu, Sling, YouTube....or?

I have Amazon Prime, Peacock and HBO.

Considering getting a streaming service so I can cut Comcast to the bone, can't get rid of it entirely. Sling has the channels I want but not all in one plan so I'd have to sign up for both. Still trying to compute the finances.

No.

I have had all three. I prefer Hulu. I have the HBO max add on.

I also have Disney + For Madalorian and Marvel shows, and Netflix. Oh yeah and Amazon Prime.

I pay a total of $93 bucks a month and get to watch everything I want

OK, another question: If it came down to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max.....pick two. Which two would it be for you?

I used to have safe sex with girls in libraries without our parents knowing back in high school.
uh...bro..the Goodwill donation bin in the alley is filled with dime store paperbacks but that's not called a library!

I currently have Netflix and Hulu......but reality is I'd have whatever my son pays for that can be a shared account.....dad perks...I don't pay for youtube but they have good free movies for free with commercials...I can live with that..they have the best international film collection in my view. We watch a lot of asian films on youtube....Koreans make really high quality movies if you can enjoy subtitles which I'm used to..I watch a lot of Chinese movies as well.

Hadn't considered tubi before. Looks like a good app. Lots of free movies, including 12 Angry Men, which we'll be watching tonight.

If you're looking at the free apps you should throw Pluto on there too.

They have a channel with nothing but the Gordon Ramsey cooking shows with the swear words not edited out.

It makes the shows better you f'ing c word!

Thanks, I did just download that. Can't seem to find the Search function, though.

Saw all of that. Sometimes, though, I just want to search by the movie name (like the movie for tonight). tubi offers that functionality. Ahh, well, Pluto looks like a great app, as well. Thanks!

Found Pluto the other day and it's GREAT for background noise. Looks like they have a ton of old tv shows and movies but what I like is the 24/7 channels. I'm a sucker for MTV's The Challenge, especially the older seasons and to have a channel playing that constantly has been fun while cleaning up around the house or cooking dinner.

Roku has quite a few free movie channels but most of them are real B movies, not anything I would want to watch. But they do have a classic movie channel, mostly from 30s and 40s, mostly black and white, with some real classics like original Phantom of the Opera, Gaslight, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Not into Westerns but if you are and have a Roku this channel has tons.

I always loved An Affair to Remember.

There are two sections to the app, Live TV and On Demand.

Click the On Demand to see which movies are available.

Also IMDB has their own app now with lots of free movies to watch.

With my new Samsung TV I got, it comes with something called SamsungTV. It's like 165 channels FOR FREE! As well as 10 music channels like Spotify. No sports or anything like that I believe, but damn. Not bad for free if you aren't picky.

Yeah, we have that on our Samsung tv's, as well. A nice feature. Plus, the channel guide integrates well with our local channels, which we pick up via a digital antenna. Everything is free, free, free. And, as Tom Peterson used to say, "Free is a very good price!"

I've got a Samsung TV so I think I'll check it out.

It should show up on your bottom home panel. I read that Samsung began installing this feature around 2016.

The logo should look something like this:
