New proposal for Eastmoreland Golf Course.

...wait, is that course shutdown for good?

BG and fam treated the wife and I to brunch on the Portland Spirit today (early Father’s Day gift). Other than the raft ups of “boat homeless”, it was so very nice to see Portland from the vantage point of no graffiti or visible tent cities. Reminded us of just how beautiful Portland can be……….sigh. Then we had to drive home via 205 and the illusion evaporated and it turned into the “new” rathole Portland. Never thought I’d be proud to call myself a “burb man” but Portland gives me no choice. What a travesty of inaction.

that was good bacon.

The history channel is making a documentary about Abraham Lincoln, from his point of view.

Rumor has it that his final scene will be shot in front of a live audience.
I think it's a re-release. It actually came out in 2012...

We haven't done that in fifteen or twenty years. We also dined in the River Queen a couple times, once when it went up and back in the Willamette and once when it was docked..

ATTENTION: PUT YOUR WEAPONS AWAY PEACEFUL PORTLAND CITIZENS.

A WHITE GUY WAS SHOT.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR VIOLENCE.

I REPEAT, THE INDIVIDUAL SHOT WAS WHITE. PLEASE DISPERSE PEACEFULLY.

Everything east of 82nd is one big pothole. The land that the City of Portland forgot (but more likely choose to ignore…..)
Most of Lane County is on a flood plain...I voted for a gas tax to fix potholes but ODOT controls the hiway through the watershed and so there are pot holes in front of all the gas stations where I pay the tax...they really needed to build an overpass through the Fern Ridge Dam area of 126...it's brutal for sink holes

I was out in Portland over the weekend, Drinking on Misssisipi, Sandy and Burnside. Stayed away from downtown though, it was nice.

I remember going to a concert @ Mississippi Studios. Whole lot of fun! Ate somewhere near there, but can't remember where. Maybe Interurban.

Apropos pretty much nuttin’……my cousin and I went to a concert at Mississippi Studios just as the pandemic started picking up steam. We saw Nikki Lane and she was awesome (cute too). She lives in Nashville and has a vintage shop called High Class Hillbilly. You and your wife should both check her and shop out…….the girl can sing.

Tom's Interurban? We ate at a different Tom's Interurban on Monday.
