We have a multitude of laws that deal directly with all crimes committed by violent thugs.

Sadly, 2 decades of vote by mail fraud has entirely replaced our State and local government with sycophants who violate their oath to enforce these laws.

It’s the piece of shit who punted the dude who was already on the ground and not fighting. He just saying the guy was racist to get an e-pass. He is a real piece of shit.

Clearly being out after 10 doesn’t make you a criminal. My point is that these are highly unusual circumstances and everything tried till now does not work. We can’t let a city get fucked up and people get hurt forever. There’s no reason to be out after 10 unless you are working. You might WANT to be out but you don’t have to be. And when these fucksticks stop wreaking havoc we can all go back to normal. But this is insanity. Next up, clean up the tents.

I did a little digging, (first time i ever checked out reddit...god that place is a cesspool)...but still didn't really find anything concrete as to what started the whole thing. It just sounds like some ass hole decided he would kick some guy and claim he was racist.

Can't wait for the entire story to come out.

Yeah, I asked for citation of the major voter fraud via mail-in ballots that MARIS was implying (since he was alleging that it's completely responsible for Portland's elected officials). Not only didn't that show massive voter fraud, it wasn't even all mail-in ballots.

Also, MARIS was talking about Oregon--that document claims exactly 1 case of absentee balloting fraud in Oregon.

Sure, that's why I said I'm not necessarily against a curfew. My point was that he claimed that for the past 4 years he's been in favor of using fire hoses on all protestors and then said that the "10 PM curfew" mentioned in your post was sufficient to make the distinction between peaceful and violent protestors. Which it doesn't, especially when he's talking about the last 4 years, not just the recent Portland riots.

When I was in the Army at Ft. Lewis, every Saturday night a bunch of us fresh back from Vietnam use to go to Vietnam protests to meet women We didn't really care that much about the protests one way or another.
If women knew what men were thinking they'd never stop slapping our faces.

there is probably more to the story...at least there is if you read the OLive 'details' nut way too much is unconfirmed. It sounds like a drunken street party out of control. Apparently, some said a pickup was trying to run over protestors; and some said the victim from this particular pickup was drunk....maybe after having a big fight with a girlfriend. The story is all over the place

I just think the clowns that are left out there at this point (and attacking the Multnomah County headquarters building) are doing such a disservice to that reason for the protests in the first place. I fully understand these people don't really have anything to do with the BLM movement, but they're getting conflated with it and people will (if they aren't already) get tired of it because of this nonsense.
