Yeah the downtown sucks. I got married in that area and stayed down there.

Didn't seem as bad as portland though.

Less commerce and more a business district, but Portland seemed to have more random vandalism and broken windows.

Last time I saw more homeless in the burbs than before. Bunch of crackheads and shit.

We may move to Dallas in a few years as wife's family and friends are there. Not gonna move back to Portland, the weather is too depressing

The weather is better than Texas where it is too hot to go outside many days. I'll take some rain over that anyday.

Houston and Dallass downtowns are weird. Nobody lives down there, it’s all businesses. After 5pm they become ghost towns.
