I remember on Thanksgiving morning, I would sometimes take a walk throughout downtown Portland when its empty. Everything is closed, they were giving food away at the Mission on Burnside, etc. Its probably way sketchier now though, I remember last time I was tripping over the homeless people down in Old Town, it was a mess.

I plan to hit up the Blazers store at Moda, Lloyd Center to check out Cultural Blends, Hawthrone and NW 23rd.

Somewhere in all my junk I have an old black and white photo of my brothers and I, along with some family friend's kids, all of us sitting in that same tree roughly 60 years ago. Nice to know it is still there and unchanged.
