Point-in-time count shows little progress on homelessness

This is though. Went downtown today to the Apple store and had lunch with a coworker. Beautiful afternoon.

Noticed some boarded up windows still. A lot cleaner and less homeless where I was then the last time I was down there. You’re out of your god damn mind with that Bridgeport Village shit.

Doesn't the apple store downtown have like a metal cage around it? May hit up Saturday market next weekend, we will see. Maybe Powells and that "west end" area. I like the Kiriko made store and I know they moved out of chinatown

They are doing a ton of remodeling to the Apple store right now. Didn't really look at what all the was.

I thought the NCAA didn't want to come here because of our ANTIFA riots? How can this be??!

The women are coming because they want to have our ANTIFA babies. ANTIFA babies healthy and strong!

It's the women's tourney, no one cares.

One spot estimating the financial impact between 75 and 125 million dollars for the host city. That's a lot of money for the local economy. Had we been missing out on that, people undoubtedly here would be saying how it sucks that our city is missing out on so much potential $$ because of the protests and the homeless. But it appeard we won't be missing out on it. That's a good thing for the city.
But, I know you don't care, it's just your schtick to knock things like women's sports so carry on.

Women's tennis is great.

In either case, portland has 7 years to get their shit together I guess.

Find me a downtown in a major metropolitan city that's "safe"......and somewhere anyone normal would want to call home.

Added that last part for somebody who thinks Topeka is a major metro.

I'm just speaking on what happened when I was a few blocks away a few years back for the Christmas Tree lighting. Lots of shit was going down when that was happening. The actual tree lighting is kinda lame, I've watched maybe once or twice (I used to always get a hotel room in Downtown Portland on black friday and party it up whenever I'd visit for Thanksgiving).

I usually do take a few pics by the tree, but its usually when the square is empty. I've taken a few walking back from the bars/club back to the hotel over the years I think.

Did this "Miracle Bar" (Christmas pop-up) a few years at the Heathman. It was pretty cool.
