Rumor What's going on in Portland?

It isn’t. I think a lot of this is based on the riots from two years ago, and how fucking ugly it is in many parts with the graffiti and tents. All comes across as some lawless violent city.

Downtown Portland was terrible the last few times I was there. Not something I look forward to visiting anymore.

Don't forget about the areas that still look like scenes straight from the Walking Dead with burned out RVs and tent cities popping up. Doesn't help with the perception of the city, even if the reality isn't that bad.

It's terrifying down there... With juvenile delinquents like these running around in downtown...

I can certainly understand why grown men who play professional sports would be terrified.

Tolls are coming to Portland-area freeways, and even tolling fans worry they’ll stack up
BS: Cortright concluded that tolls on either an I-5 or I-205 route could pile up to as much as $30 for a hypothetical round-trip commute between Wilsonville and Vancouver during peak hours — when tolling rates would be at their highest to discourage congestion.
This State waste's enough money to pay for work.

This City in Oregon Has Been Ranked as One of the Most Rat-Infested Cities in America

Disclaimer: The following information is updated for 2023. It is for educational purposes.

Earlier this year, one city in the beautiful state of Oregon was ranked among the most rat-infested cities in America.

The well-known pest company Orkin came out with a list of the top 50 most rat-infested cities in the United States. Here's what the one in Oregon was.

The city was Portland, OR. It was ranked number 24 on the list.

The CBS News website says, "In Portland, Oregon, a single pile of garbage became a focal point for rat complaints. The trash heap accumulated from 2020 to 2021 in a northeast neighborhood and eventually took up half a block, KGW-TV reported. It became a haven for rats, and even caught fire at least once."

Despite being ranked on the list of the most rat-infested cities in America, Portland is still considered a great place by many. As long as you can avoid the rats, you should be able to have a good time!

That's the city in Oregon that has been ranked as one of the most rat-infested cities in the United States. If there's a rat problem near you, you should try to give Orkin a call!

What do you think about this? Are you surprised this city made the list? Does it deserve to be on the list? What do you think Oregon can do to not be on the list next year? Have you ever experienced any rat problems in your home or this city? If so, what did you do to fix it? Comment below and let me know!

They are losing $$$ as more and more efficient cars and EVs hit the roads and aren't paying for the gas taxes. As with everything in life, you might think you can keep your money but the government will always find a way into your pocket one way or another!

This seems like a fairly simple calculation. It impacts nearly everyone in the state. Just add it to the income tax, including the cost to replace it in the future.

Done. Problem solved now and forever.

Portland's a liberal wreck. HCP's oasis notwithstanding.

I've been getting facebook ads for the Ritz Carlton Residences Portland. Wonder how long they'll be around until they unbrand that building.
