Is this just a slump? tough adjustment to coming off the bench from starting? or he is not as good as many thought and/or it's going to take a lot longer? He just looks lost out there with little or no confidence. I'm a big fan of his but have to say I'm becoming concerned.

nic is outlaw, webster, rudy, bayless , sergio part 6

translation = not as good as we thought and has lost all trade value that could have gotten us a legit player.

THE SAD TRUTH

He has been in a slump ever since Lucas passed away and even mentioned in his last blog post that it really upset him.

I think you have to go with tough adjustment to not starting. It is not easy coming off the bench. But that does not excuse some of his mental errors. He will come around. Evenually

then you must have missed that it is what has happened to every other bench player we have had.

over rated by KPEE and fans..... exposed by league.... lost confidence.... has zero trade value but at time when stock was through roof.... he was untouchable. any questions?

holy shit.

awesome try on excuse

Considering how and when his dad died Luke's passing could have effected him more than we know. It's worth consideration instead of just slapping a "He sucks!" label on his back like you did.

thats fine but um it happened November 1st. Time to move on and make him proud. Thats utter bullshit on why hes sucking. How about the league figured him out?

man, you are a real piece of work, arrogant, incredibly opinionated and critical, yet without intelligence, comes through more and more every day

Nic is still good occasionally. He had 11 rebounds in the first half of the Clippers game I think. Rudy has been awful all season though. I just don't understand it. He had such a great rookie year.

First off he was never untouchable for the right player. He would have been included for cp3. What they did not want to trade him for was an over priced SF's that wasn't going to make us any better.Right now Matthews beat him out. Wes is playing well right now as a starter. He struggled as a bench player too. If you think Nic's value has diminshed because of a few games then you are an idiot. So enlighten us, who should we trade him for. Right now

i dont know since his value was once carmelo or paul... now its more like martell webster ish

What it isn't:
As for his feelings being hurt long-term by Lucas' death, Batum has been a pretty tough player his first two years, beginning by demanding in Summer League that he not be stashed in Europe. His blog shows how much more self-directed he is than anyone else who writes a blog. (I posted that while Oden writes like a child about his video games and TV shows, and Arenas writes egotistically, and Bayless writes sanctimoniously--Batum's every word is about basketball, full of self-critical details as to how he can improve.) By the time Batum arrived, Lucas was absent almost all the time, and I don't buy the Lucas reason.

What it is:
Batum formerly played efficiently--too efficiently. He hovered away from the action until he saw a sure opportunity. Now the opposing scouts have him figured out, we have new assistant coaches, and a new model--Matthews and his physical play, barging into people, bullying his way into the action, instead of hovering in the corner. I think the coaches are less tolerant of his youth being an excuse, and are on his case about contributing consistently, all game long. He is being held to higher standards.

who is the worse player on bench?

rudy, johnson, batum or marks? you can make a strong case for each.

The only logical reason I think he could in any way equate Nic to Paul might be because the Blazers apparently were unwilling to include him in a proposed trade for CP3.

What is that based on? I read lots of fan discussion as to whether they would include Batum, but I didn't see any actual reports saying the Blazers were unwilling.

No way.

No way was that offer on the table and no way did they turn it down.

To clarify, apparently N.O. wanted Nic included in the package and the Blazers said no. I'm not saying it was Nic for CP3 straight-up. To be honest, I can't remember who all the principal players were in that proposed trade.

I knew you meant it was part of the package that JQuick was trying to scoop everyone with, and I still say no way did we turn it down because of Nic. We may have tried to originally get it done without including Nic, but all the offers were taken off the table. It never got to that point.

To ask again, which reports are you basing this on?
