Escape from NY on 23rd, easily!

Just had it last night!

Roccos is pretty good IMO

I am with Fez on this. I had a hot lips near me for years that I had not tried, and then I went and tried it and am now kicking myself for buying pizza elsewhere during that period.

The Omnivore Bliss is worth the heart attack. :pimp:

Apizza Scholls

I've read in a few places that this is the best pizza joint in town. I've also heard from a few people about waiting an hour+ to get a pizza...hence why I've never gone...

I'd like to try it,though. Is it worth it?

Do they still exist? I really liked Little Caesars pizza as a kid. I haven't seen one around in years.

I think that I just heard that they're changing the name of the Motor City Bowl to the Little Caesar's Bowl. Seriously.

I haven't read up on it, but I would BET that the company went back to its Michigan/Upper Midwest roots, rather than being quite so national. Man... I ate so much Little Caesar's when I was in college that it wasn't even funny. I think it was two slices and a pop for $3. Or $4. Or something. I'd get that just about every Sunday. Delicious.

Best pizza joint in town is kind of arguable, depends on your liking. It's a little expensive and it's thin crust, but it is really tasty. You'll be waiting an hour for sure on weekends at least. Weekdays are good to go since you'll wait about half hour at most I'd say if you've got a small party.

It's worth a try at least, and I really liked it. They really do bring out the flavors pretty well rather than just mashing cheese and toppings together. I'd recommend going at least once.

Little Caesars is different than it used to be. It tastes CHEAP now. For some reason I remember this pizza being a lot better growing up back in the early 90's.

Today, I'd take Papa Johns over Little Caesars as far as budget pizza goes.

Not just Papa Aldos.

But Papa Aldos pizza cooked on my Traeger bbq. It makes those things taste a hundred times better.

NY answer: THERE IS NO PIZZA ANYWHERE EXCEPT IN NEW YORK. PERIOD.

New Yorkers think that anything and everything begins and ends in New York, and that the rest of the world is just jealous of them.

Personally, I think that city is a festering cesspool of humanity that might we well served by a biological plague or two.

The best pizza in town used to be Pietros/Engine House and to a lesser extent, Shakey's. Fuck corporate buyouts.
