I would put freschetta frozen pizza above Papa Murphy's and Little Caesars by far.

Apizza Scholls, and it is not even close. The Pizza there is some of the best in the country, including NY. Most of these other places mentioned are... meh.... OK. There is a reason people are willing to wait an hour for Apizza. It is not only the best pizza place in Portland, it is flat out one of the best RESTAURANTS in Portland.

For those Shakeys/Pietros fans out there, try Fultano's next time you are in Cannon Beach... I think they have other coastal outlets as well. Like stepping back in time!

I haven't gone to most of the places mentioned here. But little ceasers??? really?? That's like broke college kid pizza. Eatable but not something I prefer.

Round table is pretty dank for the mid range price. They always have coupons so its usually not to unreasonable. And the 6.99 lunch buffet is awesome.

Papa Murphy's for sure if you're going to stay home and eat.

haha.. that's kind of what I was thinking. I mean, it's not terrible pizza but the "best pizza" in Portland? C'mon now. Try some of the local places out there.

Also, Papa Pete's Pizza in Castle Rock, WA, just off the freeway.

Clearly, you've never been there.

wrong i have and i will never go back. someone told me that there crust was ther best ever. I thought the whole slice sucked. just my opinion! and yes there was smelly hippy stoners working there playing giutar.

Well, I've been to 2 of them and the crust was excellent. I especially like the way they brush garlic butter on the crust before & after it's baked. Yum! I've taken 5 or 6 people and it's now their #1 place for pizza. Nice places to hand out as well.

Anyway, I suppose it's all a matter of preference, but I also like to take a Red Baron pizza from the store and add some cheese & meat to it and it works pretty well in a pinch for a good football game.

I think I'm gonna try Moonpies in Milwaukie. Anyone been there?

Took my wife there on our first date back in the day. She had to pay, because my card was declined!

Wow, she must have been so impressed! I guess she'd been looking for a guy with a non-working credit card?

Haven't bought pizza in Portland in over a decade, but DeNicolas and Old Town were good back then.

For chains Pizza Hut or one of the take-home Papas (Aldo, Murphy, John).

Abby's in Bend is good, as is Ponderosa pizza in La Pine.

There was a place at 39th and Powell back in the day (late 70s) which started with a "P" I think, and they cut their pizzas into little parallelograms instead of slices. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Damn I miss that pizza.

julianos in the couve is the best pizza i've ever had. the flying pie is a close second. i also support the blind onion and their dough made daily by sunrise bagels.
