But according to the poll only one of those can happen. And since we KNOW the team will be sold, apparently the team can't stay in Portland. But neither can it move to Seattle! OR to another city other than Seattle. Therefore, if the correct answer is that the team is sold (which it is), then the team MUST move to a non-city.1 and 3.

I just have a feeling that somehow Nike/Phil & family will be involved with the future owners, to what degree?
Some of the high profile athletes that have been mentioned as possible owners have close relationships with Phil.
I don't see any way that the arena could be sold separately. It's basically worthless without the Blazers playing in it. Plus you'd have to have the NBA approve yanking the team out of a city that actually supports their team. It's not happening.The team will have new owners - PA's heirs have made that abundantly clear. If the sale includes the Moda Center, the team will stay, at least for the time being. If the brilliant minds at Vulcan decide the team and arena should be sold separately, we're boned.

If that happened this year, how would that be a repeat? We've been better than that 4 out of the past 5 years...Fighting for 6-8 playoff seeds.
Ousted by a Western Conference power in the first round.
Rinse and repeat. Every year.
The Pacific Northwest TrailBlazers
Portland =14 games
Seattle = 14 games
Vancouver BC = 13 games
You got it. This team is just spinning its wheels. Other teams get bad and then rebuild, but we just hover around mediocrity year after year.Fighting for 6-8 playoff seeds.
Ousted by a Western Conference power in the first round.
Rinse and repeat. Every year.
