for me? stinky tofu. yes, stinky tofu. i ate it in china because the locals all said it was a good snack and my parents kept on saying, go! eat it! its good. i practically threw up after i swallowed it. it smells like ****, and the taste is like 50 year old throw up

here some info i got off wikipedia about stinky tofu:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Stinky tofu (Chinese: 臭豆腐;; pinyin: Ch?u d?ufu) is a form of fermented tofu, which, as the name suggests, has a strong odor. It is a popular snack in East and Southeast Asia, particularly mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Thailand where it is usually found at night markets or roadside stands, or as a side dish in lunch bars.

Wide regional and individual variations exist in manufacture and preparation. Most typically, it consists of tofu which has been marinated in a brine made from fermented vegetables for as long as several months. The brine can also include dried shrimp, amaranth greens, mustard leaf, bamboo shoots and Chinese herbs.[1] Stinky tofu can be eaten cold, steamed, stewed, or most commonly, fried. It is often accompanied by chili sauce. The color varies from the golden fried Zhejiang-style to the black typical of Hunan-style stinky tofu.[1] In Taiwan, stinky tofu is also served with goose blood in a mala soup.

From a distance, the odor of stinky tofu is said to resemble that of sewage or a garbage dump, even by its enthusiasts. In spite of stinky tofu's smell, the flavor is surprisingly mild. Some have compared it to the taste of blue cheese. It is said the more it smells, the better it tastes.</div>

I'm kind of limited, since I'm vegetarian. But, I'd have to say horseradish.

same here. why the lifestyle?

It started as a religious thing. But the rule is so ambiguous, and there's no real agreement among the Sikh community, so I tend to justify it as a personal choice.

It's easier if you've never eaten meat to start with.

imagine life without any meat. no beef, pork, or chicken. damn

o, and for me, it was ketchup, water, and soy sauce. it was on a bet, and i puked everywhere. it was sooooooo gross.

I don't know if it's the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten, but I remember getting a bowl of cereal (frosted chex) and going to get the milk and I saw that we didn't have any so I thought I would try using water instead of milk. So, I got the room-temperature water and poured it in and started eating away, until like 3 bites. The water was turning all sugary and the cereal was soggy. God, that stuff was horrible.

Chutney, have you even eaten Tofu or Tofurkey?

I'd have to say Parsley, have you ever tried that stuff? My mom told me it was healthy so I thought I'd be funny and eat it straight. I started to chew it, and it tasted like crap. I tried to wash it down but I couldn't and I spit it back on my plate.

I don't know how that guy from Supersize Me could possibly eat that much McDonalds in that period of time. I would've puked after the second day.

A "sexy tomato" shot. Vodka mixed with ketchup.

. but yeah, that movie is so crazy. he becomes so unhealthy it is unbelievable. he even gets addicted to it!

I don't care what you say. McDonalds is the best! Just stay away from the fries, milk shakes, and the Big Macs. If you eat a Big and Tasty once a week, you should be fine!

Don't know what tofurkey is, but I've eaten enough tofu. That and beans are like my only source of protein.

That's because you haven't eaten it with meat.

Personally I can't stand beets.

Dirt.
I was a kid.... there was a bet... I lost.

But the most disgusting food I've ever eaten is probably liver. I know, not as unique as some of the other ones here, but I can't stand that crap.

just came back from lunch at a seafood place. MAN THE FISH WAS RAW!!! grossed me out lost my appetite

^ I'm guessing you never heard of sushi before....

Don't be frightened of the raw fish. I used to find the idea of eating sushi gross but once I tried it, I loved it. Now it's one of my favorite foods.

Tofurkey. A vegetarian friend of mine had one near thanksgiving, and it was honestly the most horrible thing i have ever tasted. I'll steak to the real thing
