Yes, he's not a Net. But he could have been, had the Knicks not selected him (I still think it was a ruse by the Nets, but whatever).
Anyway, here is what the Post says today:
Potential ruse aside, this could have been an unmitigated disaster for the Nets. [Rotoworld's Steve Alexander doesn't think he will play as many as 30 games] Instead, we have Brook Lopez. If for nothing else, let's cheer for the fact that none of the rookies are hurt, all are enthusiastic hard workers, and that they will play.
Anyway, here is what the Post says today:
More troubling news on Knick rookie Danilo Gallinari - the Italian Stallion revealed his summer-long back discomfort includes pain shooting down his leg, a strong indication of sciatica, more serious than the Knicks have let on.
The Knicks have called it a "sore back" since mid-July. Sciatica could be caused by a herniated disc.
Gallinari has not played since the first game of the Las Vegas Summer League, July 14, and will miss most of preseason. Team president Donnie Walsh said Friday he's been told the injury is not serious.
