Whats the dish that you make that people always like. I have this family recipe of Salmon. BBQ or Baked. Marinade the salmon in brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic cloves and a little bit of orange juice and salt.

BBQ tastes better. But, if you're doing it in the oven preheat to 400 degrees and bake 15 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the filet.

Comes out golden brown and makes the panties drop.

The only time I cook is when we BBQ in the summer on the grill.

Stir fry shrimp, veggies in Thai sauce over steamed rice

What do you put in it?

first, 3 eggs, olive oil, dried parsley, oregano, little bit of milk and stir well. on the side, mushrooms grilled, bell peppers, onions, garlic, chives, dried tomato, green swiss chard, when the egg bubbles on one side add the grilled veggies and top with feta and pepper jack cheeses. Fold, flip and garnish with avocado and capers.Top of with hot sauce to taste

Mick, if not grilling, can you broil it instead of baking? Might give it similar effect. I use almost same toppings when we make salmon as well.

Mine is probably my pizza.

Foil grilled rainbow trout...inside the trout, green onions mushrooms and lemon, outside rool the trout in rock salt wrap it in foil and grill it on a barbeque...the sking falls off when done and it's to die for

I'm sure you could. I prefer to bake though because I feel it gets all the flavors from the marinade into the fish and produces a better flavor.

Sounds good. My only complaint with rainbow trout is that its too damn boney.

I would think broiling it would give you pretty similar flavors to grilling it.

Grilling salmon on a cedar block is the way to go, keeps it moist and retains the flavor

Pan fried steak in a cast iron skillet, with lemon pepper crust and a bourbon-pepper reduction sauce.

Chicken Quesadillas. I've taken the taco bell recipe and have added to it. Mine tastes better.

i can order pizza with the best of them

Rice, peas, and soy sauce. My other dish is a mean cup of black instant coffee.

I cook a lot, but these are the dishes my friends and family request the most.
French onion soup
steak au poivre
green beans in smoked Gouda cheese sauce

Mine would probably be Fettuccine Alfredo and Nachos.

So Zags, seeing this thread inspired me to do some cooking last night. I never cook, the woman does. My mothers side of the family had all the old timers create a cook book of the family recipes. Any type of homemade Mexican food you could imagine.

I cooked a real meal for the family for the first time ever last night!!

Made enchilada style shreaded chicken in the crockpot , home made rice. I killed it!!! #ChefHCP
