Make killer pineapple upside down cake.
One of the best desserts I ever made, apple pie still warm from the oven, made with apples from my tree, topped with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and warm homemade caramel sauce. I am a severe critic of my desserts but every component came out perfect.

Love pineapple upside down cake. My wife used to make the best in town with extra pineapple but now she says she's too tired to make it. I don't push her because she's a human working machine and I don't see how she can keep it up.
Apple pie is great. Love it when made with the right apples and not overcooked. I hate apple sauce pies, turnovers and tarts. They've all got to have substantial chunks of apple.

Granny Smith apples. No too sweet and hold their shape. The trick is mix apples and sugar, let stand in colander over bowl for an hour. Then boil down the juice until thick and add back.

try a extra pepperoni, pineapple, jalipano extra cheese pizza. Oh man its sooo good.

I thought this was a nasty combo until a friend gave me a slice back in HS and now it's right up there as one of my favorites. Hits the salty, spicy and sweet taste buds all at once!

i would have never tried it but like you it was tossed before me snd became one of my favorites. We have Fultanos in Canby and its one of their signature pies. Oh. I think it also comes with real bacon.
Its become my go to. You are right perfect spice and sweet combo!

I don't like getting bacon in a restaurant because, unless you go to the Original Pancake House, it's never fully rendered.
