for the people buying 2k7. When are you going to buy yours? I wanna buy it next weekend maybe, And see what other people say when they get thiers. Its $30 for Xbox and PS2 right?
 
I can't get it, my 360 is acting funny and it's packed away... :no1:

My friend had to do that it and took them like two to three weeks to send it back to him.I'll be getting mine on Tuesday... sucks that I have class until three on that day though. But then again, I don't have class till 12 on Wednesday, so I'll be up late playing that sh*t (that is, if for some reason I can't find a party to go to that night).

I'll probably call tommorrow to see if any stores have them, if not I'll just pick it up on Tues. at Best Buy. Can't play much with exams on Wed.
 
I have to wait for November 22nd and buy it with my birthday money...I'm BROKE. Not even a cent.
 
when is the exact release date of the game? I heard monday then I heard tuesday but then it says the game is coming out on wednesday on the commercial for it

I live in NY I just went on ign and saw it was tuesday
 
I live in NH, and I called my local Wal-Mart this afternoon and they told me it would be released tomorrow (9/25/06). I will have that snagged by noon. I can't wait! And I'm getting it for 360, so I'll get every feature.
 
No... different stores get their shipments at different times, and although they are not officially supposed to release it until Tuesday (well, midnight tomorrow), a lot of stores just release them early anyway.

Oh, great. Yesterday I called Wal-Mart and they told me over the phone that it would be available today. So, I go there today, I get there, and they tell me "not until the 27th." That's retarded, their website says the 25th, and the person on the phone told me the 25th (after she supposedly checked).

Oh well, I'm getting it at Best Buy tomorrow I guess, but it sucks that they basically lied to me.

for ue ps2 right... yeai had that chip in there.....maybe I shouldnt of sold my ps2.. oh well... I wanna learn how to hack my 360 so I can rent games and safe them into the system
 
^^My Playstation 1 is like that it plays fake games. I have over a thousand because in the Philippines the game is like 100 pesos($2) But watch out when I went to hack my PS1 I had a guy next to me complaing on how they brokeh is PS1 just a warning
 
Well, I came home from class, and end up calling around to see if anyone got it early. End up calling Best Buy first because of the gift card. You wouldn't believe this but ours told me Thrusday. Two days after the actual release date. Call our Gamestop in the Mall, said tommorrow. Best bet so far is Gamestop. EBgames said tommorrow or Wednesday. Finally, just went to Wal-Mart since it's like a 10 minute drive. Kid didn't even know what NBA 2k7 was lol. So I'm just going to go to Gamestop tommorrow and pick it up for 29.99.
 
By the way, the $10 gift card offer from BestBuy is only if you order it online, as far as I could tell.EDIT: Oh yeah, I just read something that I thought was pretty cool... in next year's version (2k8) they will be including full trophy presentations and all that stuff when you win an award (MVP) and/or championship.

Really? That's pretty cool. But I have a question: why would they release info about 2k8 if most people don't even have 2k7 yet?

So does the PS2 version of 2k7 have all the features mentioned in IGN and the commercials and stuff, or are some features only on Xbox 360? The Main feature I care about is the shooting form feature.
 
I know that the difference as far as signature additions is HUGE between current gen (XBOX/PS2) and next gen (XBOX 360/PS3).

Example: I read that next gen has over 200 signature shots, while current gen only has 20.

Me and Melanie went to Wal Mart today to pick it up and they told me Friday.I will grab it on Friday.
