...if we traded Stephon Marbury to the Clippers for Keyon Dooling and the #2 pick, instead of trading him to the Suns for Kidd?
Who would we had drafted at #2?
Do you think we'd have a good, successful team right now?
Do you think we'd have Vince Carter?
What do you think this team would look like right now?
I was thinking about this the other night, and I'm interested in the responses to this.
For reference--
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Everything will depend on any predraft maneuvers as trade rumors were swirling late last night. One report had Stephon Marbury being dealt to the Clippers in exchange for Keyon Dooling and the Clippers' No. 2 pick.</div>
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>In preparation for the wildly uncertain draft, Nets President Rod Thorn said the team intended to keep its pick and had compiled a list of six potential players. (Jason) Richardson, Rodney White, Shane Battier and DeSagana Diop have been in the team's core group for five days. But the Nets are now also considering the Seton Hall freshman Eddie Griffin, if he slips that far, or Bosnian forward Vladimir Radmanovic.</div>
Other notable top picks drafted that year (2001): Tyson Chandler (2), Paul Gasol (3), Eddy Curry (4), Joe Johnson (10), Richard Jefferson (13), Troy Murphy (14)
