I'll assume "It depends on what we get back" is a total copout.

I like what I see from Zach, and we have him for 8 years if we want. That would hurt me a bit, as I don't see us getting lotto picks very often.

Picked Collins mainly due to what could be. However it really would depend on what was coming back.

I'm seriously going with Ed Davis..as to the poll I'll go with Nurk
Bingo! It constantly amazes me just how under appreciated Ed Davis is by this board in general. It’s guys like Ed and Patty C. you go out and look for when you put a team together. They’re the foundation. Stars are a dime a dozen. Role players who embrace that role and give it their all are hard to find (see Harkless, Maurice) and the Blazers are lucky to have two of them. That said, trading Collins would be the epitome of stupid.....

I'm not even going to write my opinion, because you just read my mind.

I'm a huge fan of Ed Davis....he's a game changer..he gives you the ball every damned time. Healthy Ed at his price tag is a contract value that may never be seen in the league again amongst vets

I ask this in all seriousness, with all the love for all the players why are we a .500 club? I moved to Maui this year so I’ve only seen a couple of games. Not to often that fans fall in love with their bench guys. Are we missing that glue guy, a small forward, weak on defense, or just not enough talent?

1- Love for your team's players doesn't make them better
2- They have the League Pass in Hawaii
3- Die hard fans fall in love with bench players every year on every team.
4-There is not a lot of talent on this roster, so we are missing a bunch.

We're not a .500 team. We are 26-22.

This. I was surprised Ed wasn't a poll option.

Honestly, as much untapped consistency as I want to believe Nurk has in his future, if we could get a stud SF in exchange for Nurk, I'd be fine running with Zach and Ed.

Other than Dame, none of them. Irrationally believing in and falling in love with our own players is part of the reason we are in this mess. For the right price I’d trade any player on the team besides Dame and I wouldn’t think twice about it.

Honestly, I would be very surprised if Noah or Shabazz (and to a lesser extent Ed) was here after the break (caveat: Assuming none of our bad contracts go away), because that will either mean:
a) we couldn't get anything remotely close to the value we'd get for keeping them through the playoffs and losing them for nothing
b) we're ok with losing them with nothing in return, or
c) we're going to go pretty big over the tax line to sign them (and Nurk) in RFA/UFA.

I don't think any of those are very likely, so while personally I'd like to see Shabazz and Ed (and to a lesser extent Noah) stick around, I don't know that it makes sense for the team. And if it does, that signals something about PA and the management team.

How is us falling in love with our players (which we really haven't compared to other fanbases) responsible for Olshey managing like a dumbass?

1- Love for your team's players doesn't make them better Agree
2- They have the League Pass in Hawaii no shit but unfortunately not a lot of time to watch daughter plays high school ball and wife doesn’t give me that big of an allowance.
3- Die hard fans fall in love with bench players every year on every team. Lol yeah I get that
4-There is not a lot of talent on this roster, so we are missing a bunch.
and that’s my point seems like we are missing talent and unfortunately some of the guys we really like will likely need to be traded to improve the roster

As always, it depends upon what we get back....

In order of being upset -> Collins, Nurk, then CJ

I was speaking about the front office not the fan base.

So...are we back to Turner and possibly Meyers Leonard? I assume that is a 99% agree from all of us.
