Name two Trail Blazers (any era) you'd want on your Rip City 3-on-3 squad.

Registration for the 3-on-3 has been extended: http://bit.ly/1kFy9CT

Sabonis and Pippen.
Are they playing at their peak Blazer level, or their peak individual level? Either way, I don't think my answer changes. Just curious.

Dame and Maurice Lucas. I think those two and Stephen Hawking could beat anyone in 3-on-3 with "self called" fouls.

I'll go really old school with Walton and Petrie.

Walton and Pippen. The beautiful game.

Since I'm a Point Guard I would have Drexler and Arvydas. Lob City Baby!

Drexler and Walton.

I'd go with Sabonis if I could have the pre-achilles tear version, but that was before he was a Blazer, so I'll go with Walton & Clyde.

It's 3 on 3 half court. I'll take Sabonis on crutches.

If it's street ball rules: nobody calls palming, traveling, etc... I'd take Barton and Dame... Those two have put in some And-1 style hours.

Marcus Camby and Tracy Murray.

In NBA Jam, I always have a top shot blocker and a knock down 3 point shooter.

Whiteboy team:
John Crotty
Dan Dickau

Hair team:
Brian Grant
Robin Lopez

Dunk Team:
Darius Miles
Stacey Augmon

I think I like the rebound team the most because I could just jack up shots all day and they would gobble up all the boards.

Pippen and either Sabas or Walton.

They would run pick and roll, and I'd stand in the corner out of their way.

LaMarcus and Sabonis. Selfish pick because I can chuck from the cheap seats and never go to the paint. Sabo and LA can handle anything from midrange in. I'll be like Jamal Crawford without a crossover, matador defense, volume shooter

I'd take ha sueng-Jin and beat everyone 2v3

You picked (basically) the guys I did, but I'd stand in the corner and huck threes! When they passed it to me. Which might be never, but it depends on whether I'm in charge of this theoretical 3s team.

Oh, I'd shoot, but I'd be the 4th option on a 3-player team, with option three being one of the other two missing a shot and getting the offensive rebound. Actually, I'd play on the opposite wing to clear out the middle a bit more. Of course, even I made 5 in a row, I wouldn't guard me if I was the other team.

A prime Pippen and a prime Sabonis would be so much fun to watch together.

With 'Team" being the operative word, The two guys that I would want are not necessarily my favorite players. I would take Terry Porter and Sabas..both can shoot from deep and both pass well..

A prime Sabonis (i.e. before he reached the Blazers) would probably be neck-and-neck with Walton for me, perhaps a little ahead. But I'd definitely take a prime Walton over the Portland-era Sabonis (whom I still liked, but was not a marvel anymore like pre-injury Walton or pre-injury himself).

Yeah, if the rules are that they have to be Portland-era, then I'd go with Walton.
