I just thought abt this a while ago and wut if:you came out of the NCAA and had the chance to:1) make it to the NBA, but you know you will be a benchwarmer and still make 1 million a year2) finish your college degree and pursue a careerIts sounds easy, go to the NBA and make the million a year right? which is what I think too.. but if you do go, you wont necassiralu (excuse spelling) get the pride and sastisfaction of being a Darko Milicic/Rafeal Araujo player, but if you finished College and became something else, you wouldnt make a million, but get to some degree satisfaction out of your job, so which is first? money or pride and joy?

NBA for sure. Then retire out at 30ish if I am not doing anything and get my degree and pursue another career. I mean you would be rich and have a good life, and still can go into another hobby.

Well you dont have either...I would the the NBA player, theres so many opputunities in pro sports, become a coach, analsyst, provide alotve money to your family and you get to do something you love. Just cause your a benchwarmer in NBA doesn't mean your a shameful person, just means your not one of the better players.

Darko has a good rep, everybody knows he didnt get PT in Detroit. Hes a very good player. Just shows how open minded you are about the rest of basketball outside of the Raptors

Darko was a bust, in this case I'd be a free agent probably picked up and work my way up to the NBA. A benchwarmer in the league would probably get me 2 minutes in a game. I basically wouldn't have a reputation haha, I would be like a Demarr Johnson, can shoot pretty good and go in when you need em.

Yeah, you forget to mention A)im a Magic fan B)he also averaged 2.3bpg C)he didnt get any PT in Detroit, that kindve thing can affect you.

BTW, he is average about 19-20 mins a game in orlando right now, those arent exactly stellar stats,

Hes 21, they want to take him slow since this is his first season getting real NBA minutes. And no im not biased, saying the Darko is a top5 player is being biased, defending a player on one of your favorite teams isnt.

cool.gif
is known for his qualities like darko, and your defending him "becuz hes on your team" is biased.

No, im defending him cause Ive watched him play and I know he isnt a bust. And when and how did he have time to develop with the Wallaces there? You dont know what your talking about really, so you just need to be quiet about this topic kid.

Ok Back to topic, Darko did not average much because he did not fit in the rotation, and did not work to improve his game as he did not do anything these years off the bench, and surprisingly didnt fit into saunders rotation,

Hes not a bust, he will prove it to you soon. Nuff said, end of discussion, you will see.

Easy choice. I would go into the NBA. It's always possible to go back and get a degree, but your body will deteriorate. I can't imagine why someone would choose to just stay and get a degree. I don't care if you're a benchwarmer or a superstar.

I know you said excuse spelling but DAMN! That doesn't even look like a f*cking word, I bet if you put that in and used spell check it would say "damn... You're an idiot." I mean seriously.. I ain't got MUCH room too talk because spelling and grammar isnt my "high point" but that doesn't even have a resembalence too a word...But I would choose NBA. No doubt. fool.1

I would play in the NBA for a while, and if I was run out of the League, just get my degree and do something else. Even if you are a bench warmer, it's a great honor to be able to play in the NBA. Plus, if you're getting even 1-2 million a year for say, 7 seasons, youre pretty much set for life if you dont blow it all away.

Definately go to the NBA. I'd put a heck of a lot of effort, and some days I'd find myself on the court, which is the dream of a ton of people, just to get on the floor. I'd get my degree later, after I retire.

If I knew I was gonna warm up the bench in the NBA, then I would defenently go back to college to improve. I wouldnt want people making fun of me and callin me a bust. And I would have a chance to make more than $1 million a year.

A lot of you are fotgetting the fact that you can go back to college to finish getting your degree after you play in the NBA..
