shed a tear ehll - I'd stream a river of tears of JOYI wouldnt shed a tear if we dealt Ezeli and Crabbe.
Maybe if they send Noah back and get rid of his contract. At least it would be two favors for one then (Crabbe and taking Noah's terrible deal for pick).
Agreed. I like last summer Neil did what HE FELT he had to do.So, it sounds like Neil just wants a big ol' mulligan on last summer.
I'd revise the last part of that sentence to read "it would be an exchange of an over-priced, market-rate contract for the worst contract in the league". Crabbe would be a starter, and Noah isn't even worth a 15th roster spot. Vastly different players and contracts we're talking about here. While Noah's contract is worse than Crabbe's, Crabbe's deal isn't good--it would be an exchange of a bad contract for a worse one.
Crabbe would be a starter

Blazers very active. Look for a couple deals before the deadline. Or hearing about ones that fell apart afterwards.
Want to make playoffs. They believe the odds are so small in landing a top 3 pick that the difference between 10-15 is nothing.
Don't be surprised if they add another inside big.
Teams love Harkless, but so does Portland.
Aminu attractive to playoff teams. Boston has inquired, among others.
Shopping Ezeli hard
Crabbe drawing interest from Knicks and Toronto
I've heard a couple of the same things. I disagree with their outlook of 10-15 is the same....and getting drilled by the Warriors accomplishes what? Don't get it. This team needs as many quality assets as it can get and the better they are, the better for the team.
Harkless has several teams interest from what I heard from one person and Aminu had at least 2. Crabbe has interest from as many as 5 teams from what I was told but what is being offered back is nothing the Blazers are interested in. Ed Davis has received a few inquiries as well.
A couple teams have even asked about CJ but that was met with a quick 'no' according to them.
As long as they are offering expiring contracts, sign me up.I've heard a couple of the same things. According to the Trade machine,
Crabbe + Leonard for Carmelo Anthony works![]()

Gross.
Coincidentally Crabbe+Festus for Melo works too.
But.... the thought of Melo on this team makes me sick.
But add a third party to that, like Cleveland, and you instantly feel better.

Because that's effectively their first round pick for Crabbe. They would have to love Crabbe to value him that highly, their pick will likely be lottery and could well end up in top 10 of stacked draft class.

I had mentioned Washington in a different thread, but Boston is a good destination for aminu as well. If they're matching up with Cleveland, they can use crowder and aminu for 48 minutes on LeBron. They can match up well when Cleveland goes small.
As for return... I dunno. Zizic and a pick?

Melo ain't waving his no trade clause to come to Portland.

That's right....He has to ask his wife for permission first.
the blazers should take a look at trey lyles. this guy got a nice offensive game that can compliment nurkic. and he can play defense. i would do meyers plus memphis 1st round pick for trey. then in a seperate deal. i would trade crabbe, our and cavs 1st round pick and aminu for jimmy butler or paul george. then all of the sudden our team will be deadly.
dame/napier
cj/turner
butler or PG/harkless
lyles/vonleh/davis
nurkic/meyers
that team would seriously be built for great success
Great delusion does not bring about great success.
