Word from whom?
Wook, his agent was reported as telling Cronin that they would prefer the Blazers not match the offer, that Dallas is where Thybulle would prefer to be. It was never disputed by any party, so I assumed it was true. Then again, who knows if the reporting is accurate?

So apparently Brogdon was the one that may have been moved, but offers for him weren’t what the team wanted. The Knicks wanted him. Williams was another name that people liked, but nothing got serious
What names were you hearing the Blazers were targetting?

So let’s see

I said whispers

I said small deal

I said offers for Brogdon not enough

What else do you want?

A date with Alexa Collins, Cindy Prado or Celeste Bright.

Or all three if you can swing it.

Since the Houston media was saying that Ime was interested in acquiring Williams, I would think that the offer we got for Williams was pretty close if not the exact offer that got the Rockets Adams. No way to be sure but that makes sense to me and I think it would have been a good trade but is seems Joe is only going to make a trade that blows him away.

I'm sure the offers for Malcolm were reasonable too just not jaw dropping. For whatever reason Joe leaked that he wanted to keep this roster together unless the offers were too good to pass up and he was obviously telling the truth. It's just hard to understand why we're keeping win now players now when we are losing and why we were trading away win now players for picks when Dame was here and we were supposed to be trying to build an immediate contender.

What gives you confidence that Brogdon offers were reasonable?

Just reports out of Philly, Houston, Orlando and some national reports that teams were perusing him and I sincerely doubt they were undervaluing him or trying to rip us off. It's just like Joe said he wasn't looking to take any steps back but actually wanted to acquire someone but then Joe doubled back on that and said he wasn't trying to rush things. Honestly Joe really has me worried. I don't think he has a really clear direction for this team.

Can you link the report that cited an offer that you would've been happy with? I think you came up with a conclusion ahead of time and are letting your assumptions justify it.

You shouldn't really be worried about anything because it won't change a thing, but if you want to worry about something, worry about ownership.
