Hassan Whiteside is giving out Voodoo donuts to homeless people in downtown Portland.

I just saw him around SW 5th/Burnside handing out Voodoo donuts to homeless people with a huge smile on his face and it was beautiful. I didn’t know where else to share this so I hope you enjoy!

NOTE: Just some random dude on Reddit, and there's no pictures....

Strikes me as a big kid that thinks he has to act silly on camera? Maybe when it’s grownup time he handles his business accordingly?

He treats Snapchat the way it’s supposed to be treated; a joke.

In normal interviews he sounds fine

I don’t think it’s a secret that Whiteside is a bit on the unstable side personality-wise. Dame even alluded to it in his interview on Rachel Nichols’ show last week after he got the big extension. He was talking about conversations he’s had with Whiteside and he said, “I’m from Oakland. I know real crazy people.”
 
Hey Guys Q? If Whitside plays lights out this year and obviously Collins is still considered our future then how does this team salvage this trio come next year? Do we have what it takes to keep all 3?

Blazers own full-Bird rights on all three so, sure, they could theoretically keep all three. But they couldn't afford all three nor would either of Nurkic/Whiteside be happy being a backup

ideally, Nurkic comes back playing effective enough that Portland can consider trading Whiteside for an upgrade somewhere else. At the same time it may be that Portland doesn't want to trade an expiring contract because they need to get out of the repeater tax track and next summer offers that opportunity
 
I dont know if it's true or not, but we know has been a big fan of Wade and i can imagine that he likes Miami
