Whiteside is alright center. He's not that good, let's not kid ourselves.

He can change a game defensively and score down low. Banter was good on the O side but not great on the D side really.
Whitened moves really well on weak side help which is huge for this team.

KLove isn’t an asset. Who wants that contract? Whiteside is a huge expiring. That’s always an asset.

This is not true.... Love's contract is a disaster. I do agree i'd rather have Love over whiteside all things being equal, but they're not

When Whiteside came into his prime with Miami, Wade left for the next 2 1/2 years and then came back for his farewell tour plus 21 games. That's not steady leadership and although Wade was an outstanding player, I think Lillard is actually a better true leader.
