Maris, censorship is some authority preventing a person from viewing/reading something. A person choosing not to view/read something is not censorship.

I have jlprk on ignore because of persistent nastiness and El Presidente due to homophobia. There are people with whom I disagree but I still find they contribute to discussions, at least sometimes - even Shooter is pretty good when he sticks to basketball.

I just don't read MarAzul.
Sometimes I put a person on ignore when their avatar is too over the top for me.

I knew you were a Lakers fan. First, you were going to work for them. Second, you dreamt of wearing a Kobe jersey.

Strike three: You actually said you were "rocking" the Kobe jersey. Nobody says that unless it's used in a positive, or cool, connotation. So you're use is incorrect. Unless you are a closeted Kobe fan (well, techinically you're out the closet now).

I will now have to this ass-clown on ignore. Fitting, since we're in the "ignore" thread.

Agreed. Putting a person on ignore does not prohibit other people seeing what they posted. There are some posters that you know are just looking for a response and it is not worth time reading or conversing with them.

jlprk and MIXUM are the only two people currently on my ignore list. There are others that I ignore without using the S2 feature.

I've never ignored anybody. If I think their 'takes' are mainly stupid I skip over most their posts....*cough* Biggamedamian and jlprk *cough*

I don't have anybody on the ignore list.

However, I skip over jlprk's and Maris' posts, for obvious reasons. I skip crandc posts in the off-topic forum because there is a very high probability it is just a post playing the sexism card.
 
Why do you hide people on Facebook? Why be friends with 'em if you don't want to see what they are up to. I let anybody follow me on twitter and instagram, but I keep Facebook just for my peeps!
 
If you put anyone on your ignore list you are admitting you're a pussy.

I just never get on Facebook unless I get a notification, which is rare since I never use it. But yeah, it should be for friends whose stuff you like, or at least don't mind, looking at.

I follow you on twitter FAMS.
