For me the good ole days was when we spent half our time joking around. Folks get a bit too serious about this hobby sometimes.

I’m working on a unified theory that explains the Blazers fanbase and how it’s changed in the last few years. Something like this (still tweaking):

“It’s Dame.

People are protective and precious about Dame. A Blazers loss isn’t a loss, it’s an existential question about the limitations of the career of a ‘top 75 player’. I went from Iamablazerfan.com...the teams original site moderated by Casey and Sarah Hecht to this place on the recommendation of HCP...Before all that my Blazer interactions would be in some sports bar in Eugene. Pappa G was banned shortly after I joined this site.....back when we still had the Idaho Stampede and those epic jlprk G league threads! Good times.
