Malone leaves Cavs for Hornets
Cleveland assistant coach Mike Malone is leaving the team to become a member of
Monty Williams' staff in New Orleans.
"I had a great five years here and I'm going to miss it," Malone tells the
The News-Herald. "I'm excited about a new opportunity and challenge in New Orleans."
The Cavaliers, who have retained a few of the assistants from Mike Brown's staff, still need to hire a head coach.
