I say we send LeBron there. He might as well be the face of the franchise...

I'm gonna guess there will be some tampering fine after that.

Just think what the fine would be when they won! (Notice I didn't say if)

If Jay-Z went for the Nets, then Nelly should go for the Bobcats.

Did anyone say who it will be yet?

I'd still bet on Kiki.

KVH!!! I'd love to see him pray "please not me please not me".

It's Kiki on stage. No name owner in conference room. He will know a full hour before Kiki where the Nets will pick, but cant communicate with the team until it's all over. In the conference room, it's the reverse...1 through 14.

Al is reporting that it's likely (his speculation?) Jay-Z on stage, then Kiki if he doesn't make it.

They probably saw our poll.

Hey, he's free!

I stand by my choice. At the very least, if Jay-Z is up there, LeBron can sit in the audience and cheer loudly when we win the pick.

Jay-Z to Take Stage in Secaucus
May 19, 2008, 12:57 pm The Nets announced Monday that minority owner Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter will represent them on stage at the NBA Draft Lottery in Secaucus on Tuesday. It’s the team’s first trip to the lottery since 2001. The lottery will be televised at 8 p.m. Tuesday night on ESPN.

It's a good thing Jay-Z is going. I hope he's strapped and when they find out who gets the #1 pick the camera cuts out and Jay-Z holds him at gun point until they give it to us. Then the camera cuts back in with Jay-Z celebrating with the board that says #1 pick with another teams logo on it.

LOL.... that is funny, but i dont think jayz is a "gangsta rapper" hes like a educated GED rapper
jk jk i love jayz hes like kanye hehe and i do love my louis vitton ^^

“This is very exciting and I hope my nickname “Lucky Lefty” holds up,” Jay said in a statement.

I think all teams learned their lesson - no stars, no players, no lucky fans - just send the dorkiest white guy possible

The Nets won when they sent Lewis Katz.
