Who's more famous?

I think so, yes. Although I find it really hard to enjoy the show. I just cannot stand that guy who plays Bones partner. The guy from Buffy. For some reason, I just cannot stand that guy. I don't really like the Bones actress either.

I do, when I channel surf and see Bones on, tell my friends "hey I chat with that guy on Blazer Forums!"

I rep you Eric! We may disagree on lots of stuff, but I rep you.

Do you know David Anders from Alias? He is also on that movie with Alba about the Return to Blue or something. The second one. I went to HS with that guy. Great guy!

Are you doing any more work? I have not seen you on TV in a while, besides Bones.

I do not know David but that's cool that you went to HS with him. In Portland? As for more work, I'm currently shooting the 100th episode of "Bones" and auditioning for other television shows.

waiting for the "who has a bigger dick, me or Greg Oden" thread using the same lines as in post 1.

Bum.

It kinda pisses me off when I read that people that are about on my level of fame whine and complain about being accosted in public. I hear of people who lie and say it's not them or that it was a "big mistake" that they went to Disneyland or wherever because everyone wanted pictures with them. It's like, seriously? You don't like a little love and adoration? I mean it comes with the territory. Why put yourself on TV if you don't want anyone to notice you? So like I said, I welcome it.

My sense of humor doesn't translate on this board though.

I officially love you about 100 times more than I did (and that was a lot) for not being one of those whiny ass celebs. Seriously, if you don't want to be recognized, work at McDonald's or something. You rock, Eric :)

Hi Kingspeed!

i don't know, we'd have to see a pic of you to make sure.

bones fanboys(girls) rule all!!

seriously though, we are trying to have a detailed discussion here, going back and forth over the merits of fame and people's reactions to it both firsthand and by proxy, and also debating the differences in fame between a mainstream actor and a semi established sports figure so if you could send me some pictures that would be great.

Perhaps we can use Eric to gain more revenue... I've been saving up for a new car, ya know?

KingSpeed should just start selling pictures of himself with fans. "The King Speed experience"

You say that because you live in a sports bubble. But most people don't give a fuck about basketball. At all. But lots of people watch "Bones" every single week. The only time the interest in the NBA rises is in the Finals and even then, it's only about the same amount that watches "Bones." I would guess the average person only knows who LeBron, Kobe, Yao, and Shaq are. To test my theory, I tried to name three NHL players. I couldn't do it. I don't give a fuck about hockey so its not on my radar. I can only name about 5 NFL players and maybe around 10 MLB players.

My name isn't that famous, but put our faces on a test given to all of America, people will identify me as "the guy from Bones" way more often than anyone would identify Travis as "the guy on the Blazers."
Lets fool them and throw in a ringer-IMG_2456BEARD .JPG Old man in the used car auction.

"It occurs to me that I might be more famous than Travis Outlaw" might be the funniest, most ridiculous opener to a thread of all time.
