Crabbe isn't just shooting poorly, he's lost.

I think Crabbe is one player, along with Harkless, who will benefit and learn a lot from this playoff experience.

Henderson is kind of disappointing but Aminu's shooting even more-so. Aminu has lost all confidence in his already shaky outside shot (and I thought he had no conscience).
I hope this playoff series lowers his offseason price a LOT or I will wave good bye if he gets offers near 10 mil

I haven't seen Leonard once. If he would just get off his ass and show us what he is made of we would win this series.

Hands down Leonard.

Overall the 2nd unit as a whole they don't have no confidence at all especially on the offense. It tells me what you seen in regular season that all they got. Playoffs you put it another gear because the other team will and the 2nd unit don't have that gear.
So basically your saying the Blazers 2nd unit sucks?

...isn't this Henderson's first playoff experience as well? :dunno: It's not surprising that the "shooters" like AC and Hendo are struggling a bit considering the stage they are both on for the first time. Guys like Aminu and Hark (and even Davis to a lesser degree) that rely more on their hustle/effort tend to do much better during the playoffs. The good news is that our supporting cast hasn't scored as well as they normally do. This bodes well for the Blazers being able to put it all together for once in this series. If this happens, then they will blow the Clippers out of the gym in Game 4. A likely scenario given that LA's old aging team is on short rest and there is no way in hell they will continue getting the favorable ref whistles on the road!

Crabbe???

Crabbe???

Where are you?

We need you, Crabbe!

Thank god for that, otherwise he would be up for the series mvp for the clippers.
Well, it's not really true. His raw rebounding numbers are good, but most of his rebounds are uncontested. In reviewing them it looks like he had:

Game 1 - One contested rebound
Game 2 - Three contested rebounds
Game 3 - Two contested rebounds

He's played good defense in G2 and G3 - but aside from defense he's not providing us anything.

I hope this playoff series lowers his offseason price a LOT or I will wave good bye if he gets offers near 10 mil
And then watch him become an 18-20 ppg player for another team. Look what Harden did after sucking in 2012 Finals and getting traded. He became an All Star starting shooting guard.

Henderson went to playoffs with Bobcats I think.

Chief is playing the best defense of anyone on the team (Harkless a close second), so any vote for him in this thread doesn't add up in my opinion.

Henderson had a fantastic Game 1, but was pretty quiet the following two games.

It's got to be Allen Crabbe. Not only is he missing shots, but he's pressing out there. None of his shots these past two games have looked like they were in rhythm or that he was comfortable shooting them. For a player who was averaging 14-15 points during the middle part of the season, it's awfully frustrating to see Crabbe put up back-to-back zero-point outings. Make no mistake about it I want him to shoot open jumpers, but we can not win this series unless he and other members of the bench help out.

The problem with Crabbe isn't just that he's missing; he's not even attempting shots. He's playing hesitant and scared. He's had a decline the second half of the season but now its gotten really bad.

Great, Crabbe found his inner Meyers Leonard.

Actually, in terms of second half performance and showing up in the playoffs, Crabbe is the anti-Meyers. Meyers played great in the playoffs last season (19.6 PER, 10-13 3-pointers = .769 3FG%) and his 3-point shooting improved every month this season (.414 3FG% in Jan, .452 3FG% in February and .462 3FG% in March) until his season ending injury. So, in this case, I wish Crabbe was actually channeling his inner Leonard. He's been a complete no show in this series so far.

BNM

Crabbe seems like the typical guy who needs 20 chances to get used to everything. He has talent but takes forever to get used to the level of competition.

He better get used to the pressure asap.

Crabbe, but Henderson isn't far behind...they both need to have good games tonight

Time out for a sanity check.

Are you comparing a player on our bench to Harden?

Yeah he is; comparing Crabbe's consecutive 0 point games to Harden's missing some shots after his team got to the NBA finals.

I guess continuing that; Crabbe has basically struggled as Drexler did? Drexler lost in the finals to Jordan.

I'd hate to let a future Drexler walk away from our team.

Crabbe showing up.

Henderson stinking up the joint.

Well Crabbe and Aminu went a long way towards erasing their awful play! Thanks guys!

Crabbe showed up big time tonight. Henderson is due, and I think Wednesday is going to be the day he does.

Little Crabbe Patty is growing up right before our eyes.
