Chris Craig mentioned this in an earlier thread but we should think about bringing Gerald Henderson back ....he's probably recovered by now from his surgery..guy is the veteran spark plug we need...he does what you guys want Stotts to do but on the court...get in guys grills when they get lazy..

Here also you can see how Frazier and Morris completely give a shit on Aminu and double Dame. Ok he made that shot

"Neil’s seat is so hot that he doesn’t even sit in it anymore during the games." Haha nice quote :)

You rock it way better than I would dude...my superhero costume is in mothballs...it's now a young man's game!

You need to find the fountain of youth then my friend!

To Aminu's credit, he's actually making defenses pay when he gets the ball. His wing 3 is money.
Shooting 46% on 4 attempts a game is damn good.

Part of me wonders if there is some kind of fissure between players, or if there are different "camps". I.e., a group that likes Damian and a group that likes CJ.

CJ has been a disappointment this year, more so than anyone else not named Maurice or Meyers.
He's struggled lately but he's still shooting 46% from three and has hit some big shots to help us win games.

Neil Olshey.

This team still hasn't recovered from the horrendous 2016 summer.

It'd be a lot worse had some of his primary targets signed here, like Chandler Parsons.

I marked players.

Turnovers. You think that’s Stotts’ fault? The turnovers were so horrendous it had nothing to do with type of offense etc. it was laziness and being way too loose with the ball

Taking bad shots: you think Terry Stotts, who was thought of as a good offensive coach suddenly forgot how to coach it? That a guy who has been in the nba since the 70’s doesn’t know how to get open looks? Players are taking HORRIBLE shots that even a rookie knows are bad.

Executing: this staff has sets, an offensive philosophy and likely 50 quick hitters they try each game but players are not executing. They have to make shots. They have to take good shots first.

The nba is a players league. Unless a roster is devoid of talent it’s on them to get it done. Stotts didn’t forget how to coach this summer. He isn’t Popovich by any means but at some point these guys need to step the fuck up and own their pathetic play.

All those are legitimate issues, however the lack of execution is directly related to coaching.

Does Stotts ever get on someone for a lazy turnover or or a bad shot? I've rarely seen that.

Coaches are the only ones who can hold the team accountable.

Right now, I'm seeing a whole lot of players doing whatever the hell they'd like because there's no accountability.

The coaching staff isn’t without blame but I have seen every Blazer except Collins get an opportunity. They have tried everyone. Guys have sat for stretches when they don’t perform. Lillard, CJ and Nurk haven’t but they are your best players and in this league you really don’t bench those guys. See: Fizdale.

Maybe thats the problem. No consistency?

It takes time to develop rhythm and rhythm comes from knowing your role. Maybe we have been mixing it up too much? And btw, he has said he has made changes based on other teams. Thats not trying other options.. thats freaking out about other teams threats and trying to find an answer.

Maybe he needs to solidify the lineup and not have a player on the hotseat after a bad game.. this includes trhis forum and fans.

Maybe we need to relax. Maybe Stotts needs to relax and stop trying to fix.. and let consistency fix itself?

I know it's Sounds weird, but I want to see more from meyers in the next games
