This will give you a better perspective of what kind of impact Jason Kidd had to the Nets. From lottery bound to the best in the East. How did this come about? Jason Kidd's arrival. If that's not relevant, I don't know what is. Your stand is that Kidd quit on the team. Kidd wanting to be dealt justifies your notion that Jason Kidd quit on the Nets. Right? Wrong. Follow the trail of events. Research on why Kidd came to his decision. It's not something that just happened overnight. Kidd did not quit on the Nets.</div>
It's not relevant. Why do you think that I needed to be a fan to know that the Nets sucked in the years before Kidd got there? By that same token you shouldn't know anything about the teams in the NBA except the ones you followed, and I'd be willing to bet that isn't true.
Kidd did quit on the Nets, but I didn't come to that conclusion because he wanted to be traded. Those are two separate issues. I understand why he wanted to be traded, and that's fine. But had he held himself to a professional standard he would have done his job to his best ability regardless; he didn't, he gave up, and quit on them.
Had he voiced his displeasure and continued to play at the level he is now with the Mavs, the same level he did during the Nets the past couple of years, I don't think anyone would have any ill feelings toward him. If anything, they would have respected him more for continuing to show fortitude while playing with a depleated roster. That would have been quite an example.

Kidd plays a 100% everytime he steps oon the floor. You say he didn't. I bring up his 12 triple doubles and you accuse him of playing for stats. What is it that your really want? With you, it's damn if you do and damn if you don't.
