Cup and OB where arguing about homeless people. Nothing to big, mostly just picking at what each other were posting.

You decided that looked like fun so you jumped in and said something about how amazed you were that Cup could post with his head up his ass.

Ah! Could be, could be, I do not remember. Sort of odd though, I rarely see Cup's posts, I doubt I responded to him. I have had him on ignore for perhaps most of the year.
Shield my volatile temperament from useless triggers you know. I do remember something about trying to be of some moral support to OB. There are few conservatives in here.

Sly, I have no need to insult someone on ignore. You must know you can not judge on what you infer. Even if you perceive an insult to a third party in a two way communication, it has to be a stretch to infer it is a personal insult! Again, I summarize the personal insult rule by telling people to attack the post but not the poster. Meaning to argue and/or debate what someone has posted but not them personally. Saying a post is shit is, IMO, different than saying someone is shit. Saying a post or opinion is shit invites them to defend their position. He is talking about me. He is saying dviss was baiting cippy with his posts...including the above one and that I missed it because I am either biased or incompetant. When I read dvisss posts intially I saw no insults and didn't read them as baiting, just dviss happy that he doesnt have to read cippys posts. But, seeing how it was percieved as such I looked back and can see how it could be seen that way and maybe I should have edited it. Who knows.

Look there have been hundreds of "Your post is a complete moron" here for years.

Then people like @MarAzul respond with direct insults. It happens all the time.

I don't want to talk about @dviss1 behind his back (he hates that) but I want to use it as an example. Dviss loves his kid more than life itself. That's obvious to anyone who reads his posts.

If dviss and I were in a tussle (often stirred up by me) and he used one of those "your post is a $$@€#" or whatever...

And I being the asshole I am KNOW how much he loves his son that he'd push me off a cliff to save him from a sprained ankle......I said "I hope your post's son (has something bad happen to him)"

I don't even want to say any specific thing because I don't want to speak it into the universe (never wish any ill will on a kid)

You would moderate things in the exact same way. All you would do is remove the ones where someone remembered to phrase it the way that skirts the rules. This ain't jeopardy and Alex Trebek ain't around.
