Why I want LSU to Win NC

I'm a little weird about stats....

I want LSU to win for several reasons (obvious) but one of which is because since Darron Thomas has taken over as a starter, he has lost only three games - and this includes starting in two BCS Bowl Games.

One of his losses was to #1 Auburn in the NC game - by 3 points.
His other loss was to a top 5 USC team - by 3 points.
His other loss, in a season opener, will hopefully be to the #1 team in the nation.


BTW: Stanford OL Decastro and Martin have declared for NFL draft. A lot to replace on that team.

I am also rooting for LSU for strictly selfish reasons. If Bama wins, I can't see LSU falling past 3rd. If LSU wins convincingly, Bama could fall out of the top 3 and open up a slot for the Ducks.

When it comes to recruiting, every little bit helps!
