Let me ask you this Mags, why do you give a shit what people think? Every player in the history of any sport has had fans, admirers, and people that didn't like them. Every single one. I dare you to find one player that is beloved by all while they're playing. Some people have a different view of what a power forward is. Just accept it and move on.
You're right. But then there are the die hards like me that defend players I feel are wrongfully complained about. I would have done the same if you complained about Lillard this year.
Let me ask you this... How did you handle when shooter said that Davis was on a tear and competed Lillard for the Roy? I seem to remember you flying off the handle then.
You and a few others get ridiculously defensive about any kind of criticism of Aldridge. Constructive or otherwise. The last player that I was a "die hard" about was Damon Stoudamire. I was a huge Damon fan when we traded for him, and I defended his drop in statistics against all kinds of criticism. Damon burned me. The piece of shit broke a cardinal sin by complaining about playing time when we were just about to start our series against the Spurs in the WCF. After that I refused to blindly defend players.
Bringing up Shooter's thread about Davis and Lillard is a bad comparison. Shooter was saying that Davis actually had a shot at rookie of the year. I "flew off the handle" because he called me a homer for saying that he was wrong. Am I saying that Aldridge is a bad player? No. Am I saying that he didn't deserve to be an All-Star? No. I've said that I would consider trading him if the right deal came around for the Blazers, and I've said that some fans would complain less about him if he rebounded more.
That's not complaining.

Mags can't seem to let the question of LA die but in his defense Sinobis/blue9/Zags don't let it die either. If you call Mags out on his defense of LA you gotta call out the ones who attack LA no matter what out as well. Without one their wouldn't be the other.
