Trump will run and DeSatanist will be his running mate

DeSantanist is an acolyte of Trump. He was created by Trump and is only where he is because of Trumps brand of politics which DeSantanist adopted.

Trump is like Sidious to DeSantist's Darth Maul. It will be no surprise if apprentice turns against his master if he gets the chance. It's the Sith way.

But, if Trump runs which seems likely, he will kowtow to his master.

Trump could 'move' back to NY, or to any other state for that matter. But there's zero chance that Trump would actually accept DeSantis as a running mate.

Because he instinctively knows that DeSantis would have him removed or killed once they were sworn in.

I was about to say "and vice versa" but I'm not sure. On the one hand, I think DeSantis wants to run in 2024, but on the other, if he can avoid looking like he's crossed Trump he absolutely will, seeing how many of his supporters are Trump supporters first. On the third hand, he's got the example of Pence to see what happens to Trump's VPs.

They have the same supporters. If he crosses Trump his supporters will jump ship
 
I would like to see Kinzinger throw his hat into the race. He appears to be honest, despises Trump and calls out the self serving Republicans like Greene and McCarthy.
 
Both Trump and DeSantis live in Florida. There are lots of thunder and lightning storms in Florida. There’s still hope for a clean slate of Republicans.
 
DeSantis never proved to me that he is his own man. Of course, being attached to Trump is like being attached to a sea barnacle. When he proves he is worthwhile, then we should tout him as the next Republican party savior.

DeathSantis is trying to raise his own private militia. National Guard is organized by state but ultimately are under Commander in Chief. Who has mandated COVID vaccine for all military personnel so they won't have an outbreak. Horrors! DeathSantis wants his own militia free to spread contagious disease.
Definitely successor to Trump.

The announcement from Gov. DeSantis gives state employees Dec. 23 and Dec. 30 the day off by closing all state offices those days. In total, state employees will have Dec. 23-24 and Dec. 30-31 off in addition to the weekends following the observed holidays on the Fridays of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

He said he was introducing a new piece of legislation: "Stop Wrongs Against Our Kids and Employees Act."

"With the rise of this woke ideology is an attempt to really delegitimize our history and to delegitimize our institutions," said DeSantis. "I view the wokeness as a form of cultural Marxism."

We need a national law that protects any teacher for teaching age appropriate subjects as long as they are accurate.

Middle school teachers and above should have virtually no limits on what they can teach as long as it is accurate, legal, and appropriate to the subject.

Who better to tell us who DeSantis really is?
I don't feel convinced he is capable of being a National leader. His mentor, Trump is deceitful and a bull shitting circus ring master .
But then which candidate from either party deserves our trust?
 
Yes, make it a crime to teach about racism and cite Martin Luther King. Perhaps a better educated governor would be aware that Dr. King spent his life, was jailed, beaten, and assassinated, for fighting against racism.

I want to see Trump in jail before the 2024 primary.....anyone who has interest in him running in a primary is asking once again for a corrupt crook to run on their party ticket....not a good look....not entertaining at all...all it would be is yet another insult to democracy.....DeSantis and Trump are both insults to democracy...they are not running for president...they are running for dictator
