DeSantis repeatedly saying if Bahamas invades Fort Lauderdale he will flatten them. Apparently something to do with Israel and Gaza. US embassy in Nassau put in awkward position of having to reassure Bahamas this is not an official position of the US.

I don't see Haley winning if it comes to that (which it almost surely won't).
The Trump base won't have her, and there's literally no reason for non-Republicans to vote for her on policy. Maybe as a minority woman she picks up a few votes from people who aren't paying attention and somehow think she's supportive of either minorities or women? But she loses the Trump base for those reasons, plus the fact that she's just not Trump. I don't mean they'd vote for Biden, they most likely wouldn't vote, or if they did would vote 3rd party.
I think she'd lose in a landslide.

I wish you would have been a stronger candidate and maybe even beaten Trump in the primary... Then Trump would run as a third party and MAGA would lose for sure.

There is a real (or is it?) Churchill quote that applies to DeSantis's decision to end his campaign: “You can depend upon the Americans to do the right thing. But only after they have exhausted every other possibility.”
 
DeSantis signed another law banning local communities from passing heat protection for outdoor workers. It is literally a crime on the free state of Florida to require allowing people who work outside in hot summer to have water breaks or shade.
 
Since he is out of the picture and the People in Florida despise him, he should be ignored.

This isn't getting enough coverage. As someone who spent years working outside in the Florida summer heat as a field biologist, I literally would have died every day without water and breaks.
