I just lost 5 minutes of my life reading your bullshit and I'm not getting them back, damn...
It took you 5 minutes to read that?

Some random thoughts:
It's a team game.
Skunks live under my studio.
One is supposed to be 13 to post here.
Shiiiiiiit I learned that word from Stephen A. Lol.
So what I gathered from this moron:
-Fan opinion is a big factor in wins and losses
-We shouldn't care about anything except pure basketball. Think a guy is cool? Don't. Like that a guy likes Portland? Don't.
-Damian cares more about rapping than basketball
-The only reason we're excited about Nurkic is because Olshey is trying to sell us on a big 3 (How? He stays behind closed doors sand simply traded for the dude)
-Lillard is 27 (He's actually 26)
-Lillard takes advantage of us.
-Quick is Lillards buddy, and helps hide his defense (even though he can't, as it's right there on the TV screen for us to see)
-We should all be fairweather fans, because you shouldn't enjoy the team unless it's a contender.
What an idiot.

I am fan of Portland Trail Blazers period. My fanhood is not restricted by whether or not they win championships. I'm all about being an underdog. I understand where the team is at. Yeah I get a bit homer from time to time, but at my core I am realistic. My expectations change, sometimes I get my hopes up and then dashed. We will have up and down seasons. Eventually we will win a ring again. And even if we don't I will be a Blazer fan for life. I bleed red, black, and white. I am a fan no matter what happens. If we don't make the playoffs I will be looking forward to the draft and be excited about next season. If we make the playoffs and lose to the warriors or whoever I will be proud of my boys, I will be looking forward to the draft and be excited about next season. If somehow we defy the laws of possibility and win a trophy this year, which most likely won't happen, I will be there to celebrate. If it take years to get back into contender form and to win a trophy I will be there.

I've been following the Blazers since the day Patty Mills was picked up, as an Australian, I was keen to see how he would go in the NBA, the problem was I found that I unintentionally fell in love with the Blazers.
This ball club (and to an extent the fan base too) sucks you in, I had no intention of becoming a massive Blazers fan, but I had no choice. I was enamoured by B-Roy, and how smooth and silky he played the game, I was pumped when we drafted Dame, I love what he stands for and who he is and what he means to the team and the community. The Blazers are an incredible organisation, and not because of how many titles they have won, but because of how they suck you in and make you feel a part of it.
I've been following these forums for a few years as a lurker, but this thread (as awful as it is) prompted me to register and post. I'm glad I have, community in sport is one of the reasons we love sport itself.
My two cents anyway.

I still loves me some Patty Mills. I would root for him on any team except the L*kers.I've been following the Blazers since the day Patty Mills was picked up, as an Australian, I was keen to see how he would go in the NBA, the problem was I found that I unintentionally fell in love with the Blazers.

Let's be more clear: the trade was a good move, but that trade won't change our future, rather it makes basketball purgatory a more likely reality. Nurkic is like Dame and CJ, they're good, but non THAT good that puts you in title contention.

I found this little bit of "logic" regarding the Nurkic trade to be, uhm..., interesting:
So, I'm a bit confused by this. Trading Mason and a second rounder for Nurkic and a first was a "good move", but it puts the team into "basketball purgatory". Wouldn't it be a bad move if it just puts the team into "basketball purgatory" forever? Wouldn't it be better to trade away every decent asset the team has for picks so that the Blazers can emulate the "success" of the Timberwolves, Sixers and Pelicans?

Great list but don't forget that Neil Olshey also employs the Portland writers. So what I gathered from this moron:

This thread is awesome. Thanks to the OP, everyone is so positive all of the sudden. Fuck, Chris Craig is talking championship THIS YEAR.
I've been a member on this message board for almost 10 years now and I rarely comment.
I have seen my fare share of threads/stupid threads but this is by far the worst.
This place has changed a lot over the years... I remember the days it was Mixum as the only negative poster and everyone would hurry him.
I agree this team, right now, is a disapointment.
But honestly, go root for another team. I'm tired of the bashing and the "Portland will never win another title" BS.
Go root for the f*cking warriors and save your trash threads.

As Lebron said Ohio raised him and thus his loyalty. I have an idea, I'd give retired NBA pedigree players sanctuary in Portland. Property tax breaks to Special treatments. Then with all the DNA kids being born and being loved by the village. Then hopefully the chances of them growing up and having a place in there heart to play for the Blazers their childhood team. There's a chance we create our own Lebron or three.
