Some of the longest threads in here are trade proposals, and the monthly threads talking about the NBA. Theres a handful of fire “whoever” but I dont think its as bad as it seems.
I find this team entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I don't know what some of you expect, but I have watched a lot more NBA games outside of the Blazers this year and I see some great play at times and I see some horrible play at times from top teams. Pretty much the same as the Blazers.
But how is the team really different from the past three years? It's pretty much the same offense, the same story lines, etc. Dame carrying, CJ being inconsistent, etc. We are 7th in the west. Not good enough to really compete. It's stale.
7th in the west and 3.5 games out of first and 1/2 game from being a 4th seed. So you would be ok with a change even if it made us worse? Cause that's a possibility as well.
I would be okay if we made a change that made us worse in the short term, but better in the long term. Or a change that made us better in the short term but not as good in the long term. I'm just tired of finishing middle of the pack and getting ousted in the first round.
Nice looking family!
Unless you have a crystal ball, it could make us worst in the short term and long term. I;m not saying we shouldn't be looking for deals but with what I have read by many in here any want a complete overhaul. I doubt Lillard would be interested sticking around for that.

I used to love this board, but it’s gotten a little boring. One reason is all the old posts that keep reappearing after somebody makes a new comment. The one called “I’m so sick and tired of Neil Olshey” has been around for months, and I stopped paying attention to it long ago. When old posts keep reappearing over and over again, it makes the board look stale and repetitive.
Another problem is the concept of a single thread for every game. In the old days you would have 5 or 6 different threads on a game: Lillard’s shooting, or Stott’s coaching, or the performance of the bench. That was fun! You could open the thread that interested you without wading through 200 comments on every single facet of the game.
As you can tell, I’m not a fan of the mega thread or the umbrella thread that tries to lump everything together. To me, that’s a dry, corporate approach that saps all the life out of a board like this.
I still come around from time to time, but when I check in, I just don’t see the multiplicity of fun, interesting threads that used to be a regular feature here.
You just know Neil is saying to his kids....."Look, you guys know daddy is just doing his due diligence here"
Not to be ironic, but there's a Meltdown Thread for stuff like this...
I agree whole heartedly - but some people are paralyzed by fear of change. It's not like Stotts and Olshey haven't been given a fair chance. How many coaches and GMs have been replaced since they were hired?
Not wanting to go into a full rebuild isn't having a fear of change.
He didn't say "full rebuild."
A complete overhaul might be necessary
In another post we were having a discussion he pretty much did and you did the same in this thread.
but some people are paralyzed by fear of change.
Not the poster I'd hoped would leave, but oh well

Every team is inconsistent this year thats for sure. The Blazers when they dont pass (which is often), I dont really enjoy their brand of basketball. Doesnt mean I will stop watching because Im a fan.Exactly as I have seen several of those type of games this season from top to bottom.

All this and you didnt even mention the fact that'theres game recap and preview videos each game.Id like to point out that there are actually several threads for every game. Most games anyhow.
Not only are there the entertaining contest threads but there is the official game thread where people discuss in real time, the game at hand.
Then there is the “the other side” thread that jade falcon does that discusses the other teams’ fans thoughts.
Then there is the “post game interviews” that sly does.
Then there is a thread for almost every rotational player that often gets bumped aNd discussed about after games based on individual play.
Its absolutely opinion based, but i much prefer an old thread about cj be bumped and new/recent thoughts be added, so its easier to see how opinions may have changed or been accurate, etc.
with a new “Cj played well” thread every game he plays well, then its tough to check history.
Why would you want it any other way???

This forum is freakin' awesome right now.
Nah I dont care that you didnt lol I was just adding to your post.My apologies and absolutely correct.
Im board with this bored.I think it's a giant fail that @Binx didn't go with "I'm bored with this board!" thread title.
