Why turn to RJ instead of VC in the last few minutes of the game?

Talk about backfire, why on earth was LFrank calling on RJ to take the crunch time shots in the last few minutes of the game? They ran2 plays for him between 2 minutes left, and 1 minute left, and he missed bad on both.</p>

Can we please just get back to the VC ISOs late in a close game? RJ just doesn't cut it... Plus VC was playing pretty well offensively all night, and LFrank being the genius that he is, runs plays for RJ just to reward him for the 2+1 he made... Other thanthat one 2+1 layup he made, and his other 2 free throws, going through RJ in the final minutes of a game isn't the right decision for this team. Unlike VC, once RJ gets the ball he's determined to shoot, instead of looking for the best option, whereas VC can atleast see the floor, and pass to the open man...</p>

Also, what was with that stupid RJ fadeaway jumper down 5 with 20 seconds to go?! Atleast tell the team to look for the best shot, instead of rushing for the quickest shot (which is mostly the worst shot). That was an idiotic play call, for someone that can't shoot anything off balance (as in turnarounds or fadeaways).</p>

I have no problem giving the ball to RJ. He dropped 27 tonight and has thrived in motion offense. Going back to Vince iso's is just asking for trouble. If you want Vince to create, fine, but help him out; run him off a screen or something. Jefferson runs through the motion and takes a jumpshot, that works for him. I wouldn't mind seeing Vince run through the motion and then doing his magic. Hell it got him 30 something tonight.</p>

i think what ever plays they run at the end should have vince and RJ as the primary options on each play that way if one of them isn't open then the other can get the shot off. RJ's played very well and has shown that he can get to the rim pretty much anytime he wants and that's important at the end of games. the motion offense has been doing pretty well but it's the defensive effort that's been lacking.</p>

I have no problem with RJ taking the shot, but settling for a fadeaway jumper in that situation was a no-no. I hope that was not the play Frank drew up in the huddle. They should have used Vince as a decoy</p>
