I know I said Remedy's shouldnt of counted before but i was talkin to BKS earlier and he brought up a good point; that it didnt say you had to have a good reason to vote. Also Bobcats didnt give much of an explanation for his vote for Swish15 so you either keep em both, or take both away which still leaves a tie either way.
 
Wow, Ming just took a **** on the entire voting process. I think I change my mind on the whole 3 judges thing. I guess I was giving everybody here way too much credit.

Just because Ming did that I don't think everyone else will do it. I like the voting process much better, we shouldn't limit the decision to the tastes of 3 people.

Why would you take his vote out?

His reason is because I shouldn't have even been in the wild card competion in the first place. Thats a better reason then "Swish made me laugh harder". Well damn if thats the case why don't I just post a stand up comedy instead of a rap verse......

A lot of people have been saying in all these battles, "so in so made me laugh"
battling isn't all about making people laugh people!

What's all this talk about not counting people's votes? Anybody here could make a case against all of the votes made. That's a game we aren't going to play.
 
This battle in general has had some pretty stupid reasons for the votes. But can't go around interpreting votes at this stage. We just have to stick with what's there. I don't know what to do about Ming, though.

I can still vote if you guys need a tiebreaker. The only reason I held out is because the winner will be facing me, and I didn't want to give anybody a reason to complain.

well how do we move on? AF said he didnt want it to go this way, in the discussion thread. He wants only 1 of them to advance and not have both of em go through. We've got 2 options.

1. Find a winner in the Wild Card Battle weather it be waiting for 10 votes or waiting for another.
OR
2. Let vcwannabe15 drop out and have both advance and use the battle to let the winner decide who he wants to face (chutney or mr.j)

and i'm not taking it personal but why the hell would you decide if Remedy's vote didn't count. Plus you already said you didn't want me to win.

Despite vcwannabe's level of rapping, I'm really against forcing him out. What's more unfair? A person getting through on a disqualification, or a person losing twice and still making it to the second round. The winner of this should face me. Simple as that. We just need to get this voting in order.
 
Thats what I said. Its not his fault his opponent didn't show up. Why should he get kicked out.

About vc dropping out... I would gladly go against him, but if it's his decision to drop out then he should be able to do it. It's all up to him.
 
Well he wouldnt have dropped out if it hadn't been for the Tie. So I think we should keep him and settle the Wildcard with 1 final verse submitted to Brian.

I'm against it. And I think vcwannabe did it just to satisfy us. Somebody PM him and tell him to be straight about it.
 
How bout if AF makes it through he can battle Mr.J instead of Chutney since they want to so bad.

Well i was in a thread where The Dream wass... and i asked him if he could drop by here to pick a winner.. hopefully he comes.

Okay, with all the voters and all that complaining **** going on, this is why I was for the 3 judges thing in the first place.
Some people, first of all, vote for wierd reasons ("he made me laugh more??") and others don't really explain why they're voting the way they are. Saying "he shouldn't have lost last round" (I'm talking to you directly Remedy) is horrible reasoning and shouldn't count, to be honest.

However, since it is a tie either way and people are going to complain either way, I say let Chutney (the one competitor who hasn't voted) decide the winning vote.

I would wait until 10 but that's going to make this thread even longer and there will be even more complaints and arguing for no reason.

I'm against vcwannabe getting kicked out...that's unfair to him. Neither of these 2 should get ANOTHER extra chance when they both already lost in round 1. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that's reality. If you're going to pass one on to round 2, I'm all for it. It's already not fair to Chutney that being the top-seeded rapper he actually ends up facing one of the top rappers in Swish/AF...and it wouldn't be fair to MrJ if he had to go through the same thing despite being ranked high as well.

So, Chutney, I vote for you to vote on this battle and please just decide it cause this is dragging on for too long.

And please, no more complaining about shady voters or whatever but DEFINETLY one liner votes should not count.

I agree with Air Fresh though, I'm definetly against those
"he made me laugh more so he should win" voters. Wtf is this, Last Comic Standing?

Yeah, Chutney you still haven't voted. Let Chutney decide. This is taking way too long.
 
If nobody else has a problem with it, I'll look through it and vote.
 
What about a revote? Half an hour only for ppl to vote, and you have to give a good reason, no one liners.

EDIT: The DREAM is here, we can let him decide since hes a pro emcee. But Chutney voting is okay too.
