It's clear to me that defense is where this team struggles the most. They are downright horrible at defending the basket. Since Canales is supposedly coaching the defense should he get the axe? I say "supposedly" because I haven't actually seen much defense out there.

Promote him to video coordinator.

Hey tlong! I had a great time watching the game with you last night.

I haven't been impressed with him at all. I don't know what Stott's style is though, so I can't say for sure, but it would be nice to get a defensive coach in next season.

If he has someone in mind he thinks is better then he will jump at it. His job is on the line next year. At the same time he may not want to use him as a scapegoat. Maybe the whole staff is to blame. But they do seem to need an overhaul on D.

I say yes because though out the years it's been clear that Paul Allen has a hard time letting go of potential. Look how long it took the Blazers to part with Patty Mills.

He should and will be back, but not necessarily as defensive coordinator on either count.

Not sure Mills is a good example? We should have kept him. I like Maynor better, but he would have been better than our previous two backs ups. San Antonio seems to think so as well.

Ya I'm sure the Blazers would have been a playoff team this year had we kept Mills.

Don't think I said that. My point was that Mills may have been one of the few players PA was actually right about. (Other than the rumored Durant pick) So hanging on to him wasn't all that stupid.
