After we lose back to back this week in Houston and SA? Will there still be love floating around or will MIXUM make his return talking about how horrible we are?

I'll still love them.

I expected losses on the Texas Twosome trip. Wins would be fantastic.

First off, I say the Blazers will win one of these two.

Second, by then the Blazers will probably have clinched a playoff berth, meaning that MIXUM per his own agreement can't post negative crap until next season.

I'm gonna fucking melt down ... you know, like usual.

Who knows how I'll feel? I'm hoping for an 11 game win streak to close the season.

I'll be fine unless they are complete disgraceful blow outs. The goal to me was playoffs this year, and it seems almost inevitable.

Losing to SA on the road won't ruffle my feathers. Houston, OTOH, is a team we should be able to hang with. I know, I am :deadhorse:.....but this is one of those situations where lack of experience is really hurting us.

HPC = MIXUM? :dunno:

All I see are W's.

Bake it!

Funny, I'm the opposite.

SA is not as good as in 07, 05, or 03.

Houston matches up real well versus us... excellent perimeter defenders (Battier, Artest), quick guards (Brooks and even Lowry can penetrate), and physical big men (to push around Aldridge) with Yao in the middle. They match up very well versus us, IMO...far better than SA.

Correct me if I am wrong - but this would be the first time we play SA with Oden, and the same with Houston, no?

This can be a big difference maker.

Weird, I completely forgot about that. Yeah, he could really tip the scales.

So if we should win one of the two then experience isn't a problem,,,at least this situation?

Considering I predicted they would both be losses, it wouldn't phase me.

I see your point.

The Spurs aren't the team they were, but Duncan can still dominate anybody, and Parker will eat Blake/Sergio like they were ligonberry crepes! :breakfast:

seeing as the memphis game is between the Houston and SA game they won't lose those two back to back.

good thing batum will probably gaurd him for most of the time (hopefully)

We cant lose to them back to back cause we dont play them back to back. Even if we lose to both those teams we will have stomped Memphis in the middle. If those are our only two loses for the rest of the season I'm ok with that.

If Portland beats EITHER SA or Houston this season on the road, I'll be delighted.

Of course, I'll accept both regular season and playoff games.

Ed O.

1 out of 2 would be respectable. Although, as long as we don't get embarrassed, I won't be disapointed with an 0-2 swing.

I'm going to cut myself with steak knives and and douse the wounds with beer after the Tar Heel wins.

If we do lose, I'll consume many beers and some whiskey. Then I'll be OK again.

I am usually ok with a loss as long as the team puts up a good fight. I know the Blazers have not won a lot of games on the road against good teams this year, but San Antonio is actually struggling right now, and Houston, has never really scared me. They have beat the Blazers, surely. But not the type of beating that keeps your mind open about a future win.

It's going to come down to our bigs controlling the paint in every game. If they control the paint, we win. If they don't, we lose.

I'm ok with a 2-2 road trip... But i'd be super pissed if we won 1 or 0 games on this road trip.

Batum on Parker? I wonder what French trash talk sounds like (besides being in French)?

"Your wife shaves her armpits!"

"Oh, yeah? I heard you shower twice a week!"

I expect us to beat OKC and MEM. It's my hope that we play well at HOU and SAS and at least beat one of them. However, if we battle like we did against CLE and lose, I'll be fine with it.
