I should know better than to start reading an old thread that has 9 pages and comment on another comment made last year about dudes that have been in and out of the league and are on the last legs of their career.
It most certainly will never end well.
None of them. Absolutely none of the them are starters any longer. Though Dragic and Rondo can fill in rather well and could work and yes Clarkson would be interesting.
I hope that clears things up.
Yeah. He was a FA last season. Blazers could have used what he gives Utah off the bench. Utah of course resigned him. Blazers have been missing a force like him on the bench.
Maybe Mudiay is meant to be it,
Yeah, good luck with that.Worst case scenario:
If the roster stays the way it is now, we will have a force off the bench that is comparable to Clarkson.
Again "if" they stay the same, I would like to see a starting unit of Dame, NP, Shell, Roco, and Nurk.
With CJ being that force off the bench
...in the G-League.Greg Brown will get a chance to earn some burn
Zach has been replaced by a few guys who like Zach will waive towels on the bench and not play...Cody Zeller will get the Enes, Melo scraps and Greg Brown will get a chance to earn some burn
Look around...Dame's already in Portland...we have nothin' to do with that..we still have not filled the roster but we've shed a lot of bench weight..especially Zach Collins ...you decide...Zeller and Brown or Melo and the broken glass project?...we still need a backup big Ed Davis a fragile LaMarcus or an aging Milsap,Ed Davis as insurance.....or a Harry Giles, Skal blue light special...or Michael Beasley for peanutsJust what we need when we're trying to keep Dame in portland lmao.
There is a very very slim possibility that Olshey is: D) not done.
...in the G-League.
...maybe.
Not saying he's raw, but if he was a steak he'd still be running around and mooing.
