Man, they've got the DEALS!!!

oh come on, their meat is fine. The produce is fine if you pick them out right, but they usually last a week tops before they go bad.

Did you go to the WINCO in Clackamas on 82nd ave?

Penzeys is in that strip mall.

Gonna go tonight! They're having some type of remodel sale and the deals are better than ever! Thanks for reminding me about Penzeys. I think I'll pick up the needed ingredients for ABM's special dry rub. Recipe below:

1/2 Cup paprika
3 Tbs. cayenne pepper (or less to suit)
5 Tbs. freshly ground black pepper
6 Tbs. garlic powder
3 Tbs. onion powder
6 Tbs. salt
2 1/2 Tbs. dried oregano
2 1/2 Tbs. dried thyme

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients.
Mix well and store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
Rub on beef, chicken or pork at least 30 minutes before cooking or grilling.

where the hell do y'all keep all these groceries? its crazy when people buy lots of stuff.

kinda along these lines... ABM, do you have a son, or relative who lives here who works at the Rosauers grocery store? I swear this dude here looks EXACTLY like you lol.

Actually, I "may" have a son, but I'm not sure.

A Winco stop is always on the list when I visit Portland.

Would love to have one in La Pine.

lol my mission should I choose to accept it...

A woman walks into the downtown welfare office, trailed by 15 kids.

'WOW,' the social worker exclaims, 'are they all yours?"

' Yep, they are all mine,' the flustered momma sighs, having heard that question a thousand times before.

She says, 'Sit down Leroy.' All the children rush to find seats.

Well,' says the social worker, 'then you must be here to sign up. I'll need all your children's names.'

''Well, to keep it simple, the boys are all named Leroy and the girls are all named Leighroy."

In disbelief, the case worker says, 'Are you serious? They're ALL named Leroy?'

Their momma replied, 'Well, yes-it makes it easier. When it's time to get them out of bed and ready for school, I yell, 'Leroy!' An' when it's time for dinner, I just yell 'Leroy!' An they all comes a running. An' if I need to stop the kid who's running into the street, I just yell Leroy' and all of them stop. It's the smartest idea I ever had, namin' them all Leroy.'

The social worker thinks this over for a bit, then wrinkles her forehead and says tentatively, 'But what if you just want ONE kid to come, and not the whole bunch?'

'Then I call them by their last names.'

 sad but very true.

damn, tehre are actually Winco's out here in California. No surprise they're all located in the white-trash, meth-lab areas of the inland empire (aka the 909). only joking, i think my parents buy shit at the winco out there. dunno, all seems like a bunch of bulk food and shit.

Yes, there's WINCO's in California.

Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon

FYI check the price per unit. It is not always least expensive to buy the largest item there.

Yep, that's very true. I used to work in the grocery business and found that was the case on more than a few occasions. Also, if you ever felt so inclined, check the active ingredient in virtually all of the P&G soap collections. It's the same. Just different fillers and scents differentiate them.

We dont buy produce or meat from there... but can save some serious $$ buying everything else there instead of Wal Mart etc.

Hey! My grandparents live in Riverside..... easy!

Hey! My grandparents live in Riverside..... easy!

Its commonly referred to as the Valley of the Dirt People.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Valley of the Dirt People

http://www.ocweekly.com/2004-11-11/news/beyond-the-valley-of-the-dirt-people/

Despite cheap property, not to mention a rich array of trailer parks, white supremacists, cows and cold medicine, the Inland Empire—"909" to the kids—has somehow managed to become a punchline on everything from The O.C. to countless blogs and bumper stickers.

Still, the people love their trailers and 'tussin, which is why people keep moving to the 909, which is why there aren't enough phone numbers to go around in the 909, which is why, on Oct. 30, western Riverside officially ceased being the 909 and became the 951, a change residents no doubt hope will have a transformative effect on their image.

But can a new area code do that? Not if valleyofthedirtpeople.com has anything to do with it—and the Stevens brothers sincerely hope it does.

"The change from the '909' to the '951' represents a typical human response to a difficult problem: just change the name, and people will automatically think you've fixed everything," says Bill Stevens, who along with brother Mark, launched what apparently is the first website devoted to bashing the 909 andthe 951.

Winco is the only place I buy groceries. After shopping there you see how outrageous Safeway, Fred Meyer, & Albertson's. When those 3 have a "sale" on something, it's still more expensive than Winco.

And for the people bitching about white trash & bagging your own, who gives a fuck? I've got a family to feed & bills to pay. Do you really worry about associating yourself with trash when you go out? Are you still in high school & are that worried about your self esteem? Pathetic.

Man, I went to the one near my place yesterday and asked the lady in customer service for their recent "ad flyer". I had been told there were some kick-butt (store remodeling extravaganza) coupons available. However, she said no-can-do. Apparently, you can only get these by mail. Major suckage in that respect.

I shop mainly at the farmer's market and whole foods. sometimes costco. but usually I eat out everyday. the grocery isn't good because everything just sits there and gets moldy. I like Haagen in Portland. I also fucking HATE trader joe's. its absolute garbage there.

Main qualifier for me to shop somewhere is if its close to me. I am not driving far to go buy groceries, that's just retarded.

Did you get your spices?

And yes, those Winco coupons are really good!

Yeah, I didn't know until recently, but you can get spices in bulk there. It's a hell of a deal if you already have a rack & just refill your containers.
