...the Yanx had multiple chances and multiple options to address 2B since Cano left...Cashman has failed miserably. Ryan and Drew are terrible and while I don't think Refsnyder would be any worse, I'm not sure he'd be any better either.
...though the Yanx will surely give him some playing in September, I think it's just a courtesy and not so much out of need. Both Seve and Bird were called up only because of injuries and were a necessity... Refsnyder?...meh, not so much, but I'd love to see the kid surprise everyone and take the job from Drew and Ryan.

And that what I was exploring when I originated this post. I felt, well, the Mariners have a new GM, are facing a rebuilding project, and would maybe want to rid themselves of Cano. So I started to just speculate that if Cashman was worth a bag of balls, he would reach out and explore the possibilities. Now you see the Yankees claimed old friend David Robinson and are trying to work out a trade. What if?

Just dreaming but, what if Cashman called the new GM out in Seattle and said "Wanna take 25 million off your 2016 Payroll and whatever is left. I would love Cano back for only money and a A or AA player. Not going to happen, but would you be for it or against it in theory?
No way in hell

Frank honestly I don't see Robertson going anywhere.

The initial report I heard on MLB radio when I was driving. They said if anything was going to happen the 2 sides would have to engage by 2:30 or 3PM. Then when I got to office I went on several sights and I read what most all of you read into it, that is appears to be a blocking tactic. However you never know?

It's posted on the Game Thread Frank....The White Sox pulled him back.

Cashman cashman cashman!!!! Enough. It's like Marsha. Marsha. Marsha !!!!

...look who's talking.

...last time I checked Cashman is the one who's in charge of trades/moves.

{insert latest Girardi complaint here; ______________________}

i don't know why is so difficult for uuuuuuuuu's too figure out that both girardi and cashman are in the same boat, if the 2 had it their way things would absolutely be different, as napolean dynamite would say..... GOSH!!!!!!!!

ever think about building a baseball field on your peanut farm, if you build it i will come and show u how the game is played .......

go the distance

...I don't have a peanut field, Beavis....and you couldn't show someone how to make a sandwich without botching it.

And...................................................................................................................................................................they're off!!

And...................................................................................................................................................................they're off!!
Rick it didn't take long. I am just waiting for Ron to say Jesus tap dancing Christ. Haven't heard that in a while. Lmao

did u hear that? its the sound of no one caring!!!!

...then why did you bring it up?

...isn't this usually the part where you start whining that people only agree with me because they're afraid of me" for fear of getting brutally cyber attacked"?

that is true, case & point.... your recent post where you asked about the peanut reference, and you were like whatever, you obviously took that personally and nobody responded to you for the sake of your lack of being able to take it

Cashman would trade Severino, get Cano, and brag about how he fleeced Seattle into picking up 100 K per year of Canos remaining deal. Sound ridiculous, maybe but with Cashman anything is possible. For real, Cano made his choice, turned out to be a bad one. In time he'll be screaming to get out of Seattle like Reyes is crying to get out of Colorado.

You don't really believe that, do you?

Lmao I forgot the Dodgers got no hit last week.... That's twice in 9 days.

Not related to Dodgers being no-hit and admittedly not watching the Dodgers alot but, from what I have seen this far, Donnie Baseball isn't going to be confused with any of the "top" MGRS at this point.
